i dont think we'll get anything near £40m anytime soon for a player as EPL, Serie A sides etc will argue our players are facing John Souttar, etc (cant think of who even plays defence for Aberdeen, Hearts, etc.) so top 5 leagues will argue theyre taking a gamble on a Celtic player who faces weak defenders every weekend.
