One year after the murders of four University of Idaho students in a house near campus, KTVB sits down with family members and friends to honor their memories.

This is the most logical comment on here because no way one person did this brutal crime and no Trace of leaving the scene no motive and no connection to the victim's leaving 2 alive.🙏🏻 For justice.
When first hearing of this, it's a shock due to the severity of the attack. And when you see how the house is surrounded by other residencies, including a two story apartment building, you cannot believe someone went in and did this. Have no doubt BK did it, but you have to prove it in court.
This is such a great tribute to the victims and their families. Thank u for keeping their voices alive. I have a floppy haired 20s year old son named Ethan myself and my heart breaks for his parents, his moms tattoo 😭 but “the right place at the wrong time” says so much about all of them, they all were.
im 100% sure the 4 victims are rooting for KOhberger too. the only way to get their justice is to locked up 2 roommates and release the innocent young man
Thank you for covering this a year later. Feels like yesterday. Hope they and their familys can rest a little easier knowing the monster has been and will continue to be locked away. I'll never forget finding out about those sweet souls and their open, smiling personalities.
This was a very good piece. I had tears the whole time. My heart is with the families. My birthday is Nov 13. I woke up and said a prayer for all 4 kids and their families. I will do that forever. 😢🙏🏻💔

This case has affected me deeply...I remember being that age, so full of life and hope for the future. All snatched away by a psycho feeding his sick fantasies. They deserved to live out their lives, it makes me so sad for them and their families they don't get the chance to do that. Justice is coming MKXE 💛

Its 2am & Im laying here crying my heart out over this tribute to these beautiful souls.🕊️ This story breaks my heart man.Idk any of them personally,but Ive been truly impacted by them &this tragedy since the day it happened.Ive been following almost everything about them/this for over a year now,&feel like I know them,as many of us do.This tragedy has truly truly broken my heart for them&their loved ones,more than any other in a very long time. I pray all their loved ones find peace & strength somehow & know how much they have touched other ppl across the entire world. I hope they get the justice they deserve😢
I watch every idaho 4 everything and this is one of the best Thankyou 🙌🕊 I feel this was far bigger of a crime than Moscow was prepared for but I think they handleled themselves very well. The police department are human beings as we are and I am sure they never dreamed of something this disturbing happening in that community. And Who could walk through that scene and be ok? Only seasoned FBI and crime scene individules that deal with it often can. Moscow PD finding these kids must of be terrible for them My heart and thoughts continue to go out to Moscow PD
MPD handled themselves very well ?! Uh, naw.. Frye confiscated crime scene evidence, throwing the girls personal belongings in his grubby U HAUL truck, so he could redistribute it to the families ! When is that normal, or ever even allowed. That's just ONE thing shady af they did.
Yes, I don’t believe Bryan K. committed these murders. He’s the scapegoat. The supposedly knife sheath wasn’t found for weeks later and only had touch dna! Maddie was stabbed 57 times. How could they not see the knife sheath when they removed her body? I think the knife sheath would have been covered in blood. I’m always for justice but this case is sketchy! This should scare every American. Law enforcement didn’t even get the details correct about Bryan’s car. I think somehow this could be drug related. I read an article online that the cartel are embedded there. I wonder if the survivors could have been selling drugs in the house and Maddie reported them. That could explain why the cartel would murder for revenge. Maddie’s stepmom was arrested for drugs 5 days before the murders and Xana’s mom was arrested 5 days after for drugs. Gonclaves had a daughter with his girlfriend in high school and he never mentions her and has nothing to do with her.
@@tonystevenson26 What about the local cops who repeatedly stalked the house demanding the girls ID's and personal information leading up to the crime and who look like Nationalists..... Their Bodycam footage of the stalking is on NEEKSPEEKS YT channel.

What about the other sister that no one ever mentioned in the Gonclaves family. Her father Steve had a daughter in an earlier relationship and she also had a relationship with Kaylee. How sad that she is never mentioned and her love for her half sister, so much so that she had to come out & put out her own statement regarding her feelings towards this all. Sad that her step mother could not include her in the memories of Kaylee. There is talk of students voicing their memories, the gifts from the public that perhaps never knew Kaylee but not one word of her sister’s love. I just think that is so sad. RIP Kaylee .
@@DoctorLaw2003 Thats not what I have read & heard. Apparently she did have a relationship with Kaylee. Regardless of that fact, she is still her sister and still a part of the family. they have the same father. Why does she have no voice?
Not even close. This is a bogus case. None of it is in the realm of logic. Too many other events that night involving law enforcement and their responses to other incidents at the time.

I don't feel Brian did this crime that means the killers are still out there. This was someone who knew them well close to them knew the house & very angry most likely an inside job due to the fact there was no sign of the perp leaving the house. This wasn't just one guy with no motive who went into a strange house with 6 car's in the driveway and left 2 alive. I 🙏🏻 they get the real killers, but due to how sloppy this crime scene was trampled and then handled i don't see that happening. These families need real justice & there's 2 people who can give that to them 😢.
I feel the same way, especially since the dog wasn’t really barking until later in the morning. So either the dog had to have known them or maybe it happened later but I actually feel like it started earlier just my opinion. Too many missing puzzle pieces. This crime completely horrified the world. The thought that someone would stalk then enter your home and brutally kill you at your most vulnerable was terrifying . Those poor beautiful souls . For those that were awake and aware of what was happening it’s heartbreaking to wonder what they were thinking as they took their last breaths in the presence of an unspeakably evil monster . They lived the horror of a real life slasher movie . Only it was real life . They had so much promise and life vitality cut short by a butt hurt man baby . Rip beautiful souls

With all the blood at the scene, NOT ONE DROP was of a potential suspect? How??? Let’s also remember that this was a party house. People in and out at all ours. That’ll be a big piece of info for the defense

Under the United States Constitution Rights no one is guilty until proven guilty in a court of law. No conclusive evidence points to Bryan Koeberger as the perpetrator of these egregious crimes.
I don't know how these poor parents can be able to get out of bed in the morning , let alone be able t o talk to media and to create scholarships in only a years time.
Make it 5 victims because BK didn’t do this but they gonna kill him because of it. It’s sad that another family has to lose a child because LE can’t do their job or they are protecting somone. Any other normal investigator would be questioning the roommates on why didn’t call 911 but called everybody else? Seriously five victims not four. You cannot convince me BK did this he has no connection no motive, but you know who has connection and motive other students.

I don’t believe he could stab 4 students in 9 minutes and 3 different levels in the home. Then weeks later law enforcement finds a sheath that was under Maddie’s body? And only had touch dna?! It would have been covered in blood and how did they miss it when they removed Maddie’s body. Now we know she was stabbed 57 times and the first one murdered!

I've heard people criticize them for not wanting to go to the trial. I actually admire them for not wanting to go. I admire them for taking the most horrendous and painful thing a parent could go through and finding a way to focus on the positive. They have found the strength to focus on their children who are still alive. I can't imagine the strength that would take. I have so much admiration for them.

I hope as a parent that they have no plans of tearing down the house until the this man is convicted! I would be devastated if he walked after murdering my CHILD 😢 I hope these parents are having a say in what happens. University can tear it down after I know for this man pays for the crime. Healing Garden is fine but wait until conviction!!!!
They should prioritize some sort of either blocking, replacement of windows/clean up and painting of the exterior of the house... It wouldn't cost much to build a temporary wall, or like I said, clean up the exterior/outside to keep it from standing out as it does. And, this wouldn't affect any evidence inside. But, allow for the students and community to heal. They certainly do not need a daily reminder walking from one class to another. God bless ❤ 🙏
I personally know the pain of the sudden loss of a perfectly healthy beautiful child. She's pictured here with me in fact. The pain is literally bottomless. They aren't saying it and it's the polite thing to say that they are much better a year later however I am here to tell you that these people feel like they just lost their child and that wound will be a big raw gaping wound all the days of our lives. That's just the facts of the matter. May God bless this family and grant them mercy. Keep their other children safe.

Copper snap. Only holds trace DNA for 4 hours. Not only that but copper components impead DNA. The police werent even called for 8 hours and forensics not for another 4 hours. There is no way anyone's DNA was traced from that copper button snap. Its proven to be scientifically impossible.

I just don’t understand how people make the decision to travel to a community that has suffered such a tragedy and try to support them unless you are there doing work. How does one do that exactly ? Do you walk around and see if people want to talk ? I find this akin to people stopping at an accident scene.
Wow, I was a little taken aback when I saw that Maddie’s ashes were with the Gonzales and not her own family. Idk why but it seems so strange to me. I had an. Aunt who passed away from cancer and before she died she wrote in her will she wanted her best friend of 50 years to have her ashes and to spread them across oceans for her and as her family we respected that but as a mother myself I can’t imagine not having my murdered child’s ashes with me.
Parents, raise your kids better. Don’t be reckless and host strangers 24 hours a day…….don’t see a masked man in the home, hear cries, and waste 12 hours BEFORE calling police. Don’t “clean up” a murder scene. See….? Simple things.
This didn't happen in a home! It happened in an off campus house. It also had NOTHING to do with their parents. They raised their children well. So don't blame their parents, or them. Blame friends who may have brought in strangers. Gosh you seem so insensitive.
How maddies parents let her Ashes be with her best friends. My 25yo passed In 2020.. her ashes are here with me. Her best friend text me about four weeks ago and asked if she could buy a necklace for my girl, and would I put it with her ashes?… of course, I said yes. It’s so sad to see these young people so brutally taken away, so wrong. Rih Kaylee, Maddie, Xana and Ethan. Thoughts to everyone.
