I don’t like commenting ever but Holy shit, buddy has no business shooting that far, needs to spend a lot more time behind the rifle practicing before trying to shoot long distance at any animals!! I do like the quality of your videos so good work on that but send your buddy to the range.
I’d like to know what y’all learned from this experience? What was it that caused the off shots, nerves, breath work, lack of range time or just rushing every shot? We all miss that’s for sure, as long as we learn from it and work to improve our skills. Also tripods can help if they are super low to the ground by removing center column if possible, more height usually gives more wobble. Like the other gentleman that shot and killed the bear in a prone position with rifle in multiple points of contact to help ground the rifle giving stability. Just a suggestion. Better luck on next hunt.
I respect not editing out the 10 missed shots at a half mile but brooo at what point do we realize that maybe we should stop. Homie would probably still be slingin lead at that bear if he didnt run out bullets. Shooting like this is what gives hunters a bad wrap. Lucky they were clean misses. Couldve easily wounded one of those bears.
Great video, I think it shows how hunting really can be a lot of the time. It can be sucky, your equipment can malfunction, or you just get the shakes, it is normal. People act they never miss in these comments 😆
Totally agree! 😂 it’s funny what people have to say, social media sure gives people freedom to say whatever they want with no reasoning. Too bad they’ll never have the guts to say it to our face
Great videos! I'm one of the 'two dudes' that Rayden mentions in the early part of the video that met you guys the past two years. Are you heading back this spring??
Missing multiple times on bears, not setting your TiPi up right so your shit gets soaked, not learning your lesson the first time with shooting stupid distances=shitty hunters.
Like I said in the video, we shot raydens gun and double checked zero on the last day before we saw the bear. Go give my most recent podcast a listen with rayden, we talk about how it all went down and why it all happened the way it did.
