Identify Feminine and Masculine in French PART 2 - (The ending rule explained) 

I’ve been learning French on my own for over a year and I’m so glad that I found your channel. I have a little more than a baseline knowledge but your videos on little grammar/vocab details and pronunciation I still find helpful for keeping me sharp!

Pearl, I've used my French in Quebec, Canada & they understood me. Most of my French came from DuoLingo lessons. That platform is very useful to me: I practice French, German, & Spanish on it. Although the latest update of DuoLingo puts a stronger emphasis on pronunciation, but they don't give it in "rules format" as you do. You help me in a friendly way. You're my big sister, French teacher. Because you are so cool, I'll share my memorization technique with you. I don't get anything out of mindlessly repeating, for example, "chat...cat" over and over; instead, I play with the word. For example, "chat...cat, stat, fat, mat, cat, bat, mat, fat". Then, I imagine a situation where a cat is involved. For example, I visualize my wife combing her blond cat, Goldie, with a blue comb, or sitting at her computer with her cat, TeeGrr, on her shoulder. Next, I make a half English, half French sentence. For example, "Beth's chat is sitting on her shoulders." So, I guess I'm associating a new French word with something I already now and which has an emotional or evocative character to it. For example, I only needed to hear the word "merd" once to get it & keep it forever. Thanks, sis.
