Thanks for efforts & knowledge sharing. I have a question please, as there's no direct counter to calculate slot usage, so How "slot usage" can be estimated?
Hi Khalid, thank you very much for the explanations. now the question is how we can find the counters for this issue in wireless system (preferably LTE). we have ZTE and Huawei vendors.
If you cannot find those counters in your vendor, you can still estimate them. The denominator of cell throughput usually is equal to slot usage as it indicates the number of slots or TTIs that are used to transmit data. Similarly, the cell throughput numerator is the sum of all the traffic while the user throughput numerator is the traffic without last TTI/single TTI traffic. This means that if you get the delta between cell throughput numerator and user throughput numerator, then that should be estimated value of last/single TTI traffic - if there is no padding data.
I have shared some info on VoLTE retainability in the VoLTE sessions but have not done an exclusive one yet ru-vid.com/group/PL4OXTttOk9WiY6DKS3flR_NIYJf6NCLLJ
@@ank707 Yes sometimes, it can be related to the packet loss but not always. Usually RAN packet loss is pegged at PDCP which will not know of any packet loss in the backhaul or application layer. So, it can only be seen in RAN packet loss counters if there is a counter that can read and peg missing SNs at the input of the PDCP layer
