In this video I will give you some tips about how to take better photographs of birds in your back garden and identify them. This video came about following a visit to a nature reserve where I didn't photograph any birds. I decided to not be disheartened and film a video from the hide in my garden.

Nice video extolling the virtues of the back garden. You talked about changing between the large focus box and single spot. You didn't talk much about 3d tracking. Is that because it isn't really relevant when the birds are mainly around your branches or is there another reason?

Well done Darrell, another enjoyable video which shows that travelling to distant locations isn't really needed get first class pictures. The Z8 is excellent once you've got to grips with the auto-focus system, I don't think it'll ever become second nature to me - just too much to take in. I've got mine set up in much the same style as yours and it's a joy to use.
