Yeah, but the names "Zacian" sounds masculine and "Zamzamta" extremely feminine, I mean it sounds like Samantha and Matilda. I know that the names are of Japanese of origin (most likely), but still, just an opinion.
While zacian is listed as genderless like most legendaries, Most infomation in media and the games implies/notes that the wolves are likely a nidoran situation with zacian (female) and zamazenta (male) of the same/similar species.
"This Pokémon has slumbered for many years. Some say it's Zamazenta's elder sister-others say the two Pokémon are rivals." - Zacian's dex entry in Pokémon Shield, stating it as a sister, therefore female.

I mean, it does feel intentional, considering that's a "Girly" Holowear. But I guess it would be up to testing it on the practice range, considering you can choose any Holowear there
In a previous version of the game, some skins for Sylveon and Glaceon used the opposite Eevee gender model, this seems to have been an error, as it's no longuer in the game
Within the game data (according to Elchicoeevee) female Pokémon have their gender specified next to their name (and males only have their name). After an update, Zoroark, Chandelure, Lapras, Gardevoir, Wigglytuff and Eldegoss were defined as female (I think Delphox and Meowscarada too but I'm not sure about these two, Meowscarada may already entered the game with the gender defined as female)
Yeah, I came across this while researching for the video, and it was pretty cool. Though I decided to focus only on Pokemon with confirmed visual differences between male and female in Unite to keep things simple.
I'd like to note that the wording of the Zacian entry implies the professor(s) writing the pokedex entries were simply stating the folklore surrounding these two mythological beings. Scientific facts or hypotheses wouldn't be worded as "some say *insert information" Imagine your science textbook saying "People claim that gravity exists" or "Some people think that rain falls because of a process they call condensation"
Hello, some months ago I made a post on PoKeUni’s subreddit, there I explained that in the files, every Pokémon has gender/sex, even if they’re genderless in the mainlines. Following playable Pokémon are female according to their file: Lapras, Comfey, Chandelure, Mimikyu, Zoroark, Gardevoir, Blissey, Dodrio, Meowscarada, Scizor, Tsareena, Clefable, Wigglytuff, Espeon, and Glaceon. The rest of the playable Pokémon are all male, even Legendaries, even Mythicals, no exceptions. Miraidon, Mewtwo, Hoopa, etc. are all marked as “male” in the files. Yes, Sylveon is a pretty boy.
I might have come across these during my research, though I aimed for a simple video based on visual differences. Thanks for sharing it here for anyone who is interested

Gardevoir used to actually be male in-game, but was changed during an update, since the genders of some of the pokemon are coded into the game, and the Ralts line was male originally (Ty ElChicoEevee for this info!) Tho I am sad for the change because the idea of Gardevoir being male is so cool, I wish we got more male/masc garde rep
I believe out of 1,025, only about 104 Pokémon have gender differences. Don’t know when a new distinguishable Pokémon is coming to the Unite roster though thanks 🤔
I’ve always known that the one from Unite is a female, but I kinda wish it was male since I always imagine that the three heads pecking at each other during times of frustration, almost like brothers in a cartoon where they all hate each other
I like to head cannon sylveon as usually male, it’s elegant, (but I also used a male sylveon in a mainline game and it carried me far) so I might be a little bias
Petition to have both male and female option pokemon ingame. Like in the games, males have higher atk/sp atk while lower hp. Female have lower atk/sp atk but higher hp
@@Edujs23 pokemon mystery dungeon Edit: in the pmd games, males have higher crit ratio and females have higher accuracy/evasion. The only time where different genders have varied stats are with indeedee, males having higher offensive and speed stats and females with higher defence and hp stats
