You see that cowboy's icon is surrounding by red? That means they have the "Wanted Order", which makes the hunter able to see their silhouette the whole time until their portrait stops being red. It's a big disadvantage when rescuing because it means the hunter could get a hit on you really far from chair because they know exactly where you are coming from
