tip: in high ranks unless you see the hunter swing a lot always try to get a surprise pallet stun on your second loop cause most of them will just walk through the pallet thinking that you'll keep looping

Thx for this tip and what I most of the time do is make the hunter think that im leaving the pallet and when they are fooled,ill go back to the pallet and slam the pallet at thier nose like similar to this 11:07
Extra tip for anyone who’s like me and played dbd for ages before idv. Imagine the hitboxes are worse at palettes and that you can actually get hit through a palette, essentially predropping in idv is actually a really good strat almost every time compared to dbd where 9/10 times if you pre-drop you are considered an idiot
ofc if you managed to palette stun then props to you, but if it just infuriates you too much because you can’t palette drop differently than how you would in dbd then just pre-drop
as the mind's eye, i like to pass through the pallet (especially in arms factory) then they hit through the pallet, thinking i'm there. then, when they continue chasing me i go back to that pallet and hide behind it. they usually walk through the pallet thinking i'm not gonna throw it down. ;w;

Pallet stuns literally saved a rank match for me: there was two ciphers and people left, due to me getting multiple stuns on the hunter, I was able to get a dungeon escape which gave my team a tie

Hi Rin! Sorry I'm asking this even when the video is from a year ago, I'd just like to clarify something since I'm new! Regarding the pallet spam, while I understand its bad to do it a lot because you're gonna waste resources for yourself and your teammates, and the hunter knows you're panicking... is it okay to pallet spam during late kite? As in when it's 1 cipher left or when the hunter has detention? Like, that's a good time to "waste resources" right? Because everyone else is opening gate and you got the hunter's attention, so you're the only one using everything at your disposal at this point to survive. Especially when you notice the hunter has slow pallet-breaking so it might give you extra time @_@ I hope that's okay
Ya of course! Whatever you think will work, do it! Your one goal is to let all your teammates leave even if it means you are being destroyed. It’s not how it happened, if it works, it works. If you think that is the best decision and does waste the hunter time, yes.

Never give up on the game because you got chaired or loss multiple matches, there will always be a learning curb and one day when you look back at noob hunters who can't catch you, you will have a time of your life. As a hunter main, this will actually be helpful when I play as survivor lmao XD sadly my ping is not that good so my pallet dropping is kinda delayed? So, a question, when you need to conserve pallets and when you can use to stun?
In my opinion if you are in a good area, you should try to conserve your resources. Only transition away when the resources dry out or when you need to basically. Stunning is just another method of kiting to me- it buys time. So if you feel like you're losing distance, waiting behind a pallet might be a good idea (depends on hunters and ur own decision making) Switching up kitting style are very good too! You'll confuse the hunter and make it less predictable for them Idek if this will help-

Yup practice makes perfect and also you need to be tough bc you'll get bashed so many times but you see there's a rainbow after rain. Don't be like those players who blamed teammates when that player is crystal clear a noob too and when you already a pro one don't be selfish.
23:10 btw to say Incase someone don’t understand Dream witch have 2 types or leaches one is her main leach and the other is the survivors leach rin is trying to say that if dream witch use a survivors leach and her main leach she can sandwitch you and stuff you he said (sandwitch 🤣)
