Dear Detectives, Take a leap back in time and come face to face with Journalist Alice Deross! Explore the mysterious path with the inquisitive mind of the new Character! ⏳ #IdentityV #AliceDeross
As soon as she started speaking, I knew it was Suzie Yeung. Absolutely phenomenal voice actor! She's well known for voicing Eula in Genshin Impact, Makima in Chainsaw Man and Yuffie in Final Fantasy !
She is clearly the older version of Little Girl, no doubt! The backstory looks interesting, and I hope they establish her lore for good this time, we've been waiting too long for answers about this character!
@@qcosteur yes, they are the same person, and during the last game, she was not actually a little girl but the grown woman we see in that video (and thanks to the Ashes of Memory new story), so Orpheus was probably hallucinating her as his playmate from childhood. Given what we see in TOR, it looks like she did not survive... But that is yet to be confirmed by the new storyline
@@redrubyrose618 yeah, her investigation must have happened before the final game, because as we know, the final game ending was the reason the manor got burned down, and Alice investigates in a fully functional manor unlike Orpheus.
A little background information on Alice for those who don’t read the lore: She’s actually Orpheus’ little sister! He was adopted by her parents as a child and they had Alice shortly after adopting him, the two also have prominent roles in the stories of Guard 26 and Mad Eyes, I would really recommend checking it out if you’re interested in learning more about her!
Looking back on this trailer with more attention and thanks to the first chapter of AoM, I think we can make guesses about her story. Aside from the fact that she is obviously grown up Alice, the video suggests that something happened to her parents (and presumably Orpheus) when they were living in the manor together. Alice is probably the daughter of the baron and baroness while Orpheus was adopted by them, but that's just my idea based on some other lore informations. After this incident which apparently killed their parents, Alice was left deeply scarred due to witnessing their deaths or the horrors that unfolded that day. The trauma led to her being sent to an orphanage/asylum for children. This asylum disguised as an orphanage seems to be the same one Gardener (Emma Woods) was sent to as a child, and where she endured mistreatment and brutal experimentations. The scenes where you see "Little Girl" being bullied and sitting on a chair with a helmet suggest this. Orpheus, her adoptive older brother, apparently tried to get her back but the hospital refused to let Alice leave nor even let him visit her. They explained through letter that Alice was still suffering and in a catatonic state, but Orpheus knew these were all lies. We learn this in Novelist's birthday letter. We know that after leaving the orphanage, Alice became a reporter. One of her first investigations was the accident from the Golden Cave (linked to Norton's backstory) and she managed to interview Norton (she might actually be the unknown journalist questioning him in one of his birthday letters). This same letter confirms that she participated in the final game as an adult along with Melly, Orpheus and Norton.
You gotta stop not telling us who's the wonderful va for these characters. Man,I found the eng va for Thief and he said he didn't even know the game was alr out.
I think that the journalist was once a girl who lost her family in a tragedy, however she was painted as the one responsible through lies and rumors. She became a journalist in order to help those like her and hopefully uncover the truth behind her parents’ death.
Journalist was actually put in the asylum because she went mute for a few years (if i heard correctly that and she saw her family getting murdered by poachers and no one in her family wanted to take her or orpheus in) and i think she might have become a journalist to 1. Investigate what happened to her family and why 2. Find her lost brother 3. Get more info on the survivors in the manor) i think shes so brave for going from being in an asylum to leaving the asylum and facing her troubles and whatnot😩
Been an Alice enjoyer since Day 1, I'm gatekeeping her from the people who simp for her but hate Memory, like they're the same person and a package deal so you can't cherry pick on them /hj. ;)
Oh, I've been wondering why is that paper style seems so familiar, thanks a lot for pointing that out! It would be amazing if somehow they can do a crossover with American McGee's Alice someday, I saw a thread before speaking that someone did asked Mcgee if he's open for the idea of an IDV crossover with Alice and he'd be delighted if he got the chance to.
@@CelestePrimrose Fr 😭 Id love to see them in IDV Imagine Alice as Geisha S tier skin with brand new animations (Alice can float, can dash, has vorpal blade and hysteria form) and that unkillable executioner from Chapter 4 also fit for Percy.
@@osmanthuswine7666 gosh I would love to see that, if they have a crossover with them I hope the red Queen is there I love her character design so much
Wonder when will miles donald ( Michiko's husband ) will start to join the manor or other Included characters that appeared in Survivor/Hunter's backstory
if you listen closely at 0:13 she said there was 1 survivor in a mine. Possibly referring to norton (idk his lore but i believe there was a accident in the mine and he was probably the only survivor)
uh he’s her adoptive brother in the lore (she is also claimed to be his wife but its pretty much proven that she’s his adoptive sister) and he also tried to adopt her while she was in WSSA
@@wasuptghowarfd idk if they got married or not but it seems that Alice's parents either adopted Orpheus because his parents died and they worked for the Deross family or because Alice was an only child and they wanted a male heir but to also kept their linage, so they might have been arranged their children to marry each other.
I don't understand why the little girl inside the game got the invite or what? I don't understand anything. Help me. Isn't her father the owner of the manor?
@@ASTER10NN Thank you. I know that after reviewing the events. Can I ask you a question? Are the hunters hallucinations of the survivors? And why did the survivors become hunters like Smiley Face, Orphes, and others
@@laj9j it’s implied that the hunters are hallucinations of other survivors as a result of the drugs. Nightmare is just a hallucination as the result of the drugs, but Smiley Face and Joker Are two separate people I believe.
