Paid I'm assuming it's lucky guy and my favorites for him were 4:01 and 3:23 like if those became a skin I would pay 20 dollars for those, like 3:23 is almost if not s tier

I think it mainly won due to the background elements! And the story it provides. It truly embodies the essence of Chinese folklore, I can see that it’s similar to 聊齋誌異 so

My favourite part of it is probably the walking out of the art part! It’s very creative. Yes the art style may not be as complicated as the others, but it does try to grasp the Chinese painting look where the smoke over river element is really shown!

It’s not gonna be easy to animate if they choose to follow through with the suggestions from the art😅 it’s the most complex if they do it.

Both the professors and the devs mentioned in the interview said they wanted a design that would match more on uniqueness and theme rather than just looks and color rendering, overall I still give congrats to this artist

The winning skin fit the calligraphy theme the best imo. I think it’s gorgeous and I can’t wait to see how it’s adapted in game
