Went down a rabbit hole when Weeping Clown's A-Tier skin "The Encroached" released and absolutely lost it with the animation. Tenderly rescuing "The Captive" because his stockholm syndrome has him dedicated to his master. Also we have NO idea if said master is nice at all because he's labeled as "the lunatic aristocrat" captured, caged up and are just playthings to Mechanic and Ithaqua in this skinline. Anyway I'm obsessed by how I have nothing else but this little info.
There are theories about the lore concept of this skinline that indicates they are the same person, mostly as a philosophical representation that no matter how their intents can be described as "good" or "evil", they are both doing terrible things with their power. Wait I’m so confused on this guys story so I get he has a twin brother and I saw the video with him and his mom in the blizzard so did the twin come get him or am I missing something?
in the official backstory, he was stillborn and considered the child of a demon so they told the mom to throw him away but she didnt want to so she raised him in the woods. eventually his twin became a cult leader and started a witch hunt, their mother being a target. ithaqua realized they look identical so he killed his cultist twin and took his place to rescue his mom. whatever rituals he witnessed in that prison that happened to her probably traumatized him a little(he says he saw “true purity” in there). either way, his mother was almost dead or dead so he took her corpse back to their house in the woods and promised her no one will get near her again. after that he probably started doing a “witch hunt” of sorts too, but targeted towards the cultists who killed innocent people. as for the essence story, it can be interpreted in multiple ways, but the “sun” is his twin and ithaqua is the morning star. he basically took over the suns kingdom and chained him up, flipping the roles of predator and prey like he did in his canon story.
@@32deadcops ohhh I was confused cuz I thought the brother looked evil in the blizzard vid while night watched looked more innocent. And I saw the skin animations before I saw this video so from that I thought the evil twin had ‘captured’ night watch and it was like we were getting both twins y’know the original skin being night watch and the Morningstar being the cult leader twin… I guess I was just reading to far into it lol😅
