Led by the 401st Armored Brigade and other troops, the operation aimed to clear Hamas presence, demolish infrastructure like tunnels, and enhance control over the Netzarim corridor.
Notable achievements include destroying rocket plants and tunnel shafts, and killing 40 terrorists. The 162nd Division, mostly withdrawn from Gaza, has the Nahal Brigade remaining in the Strip, responsible for ongoing operations. A reserve brigade will replace Nahal in the Netzarim corridor, allowing the division to prepare for future offensives in Rafah and central Gaza.
