it really pisses me off when people say idina can't sing because of one mistake in a live performance, they obviously have not gone ontk youtube to see how bloody amazing she is! This woman is a true legend with an amazing talent and its horrible to read such disgusting comments about her because of some performances that arent perfect

She really is a blazing supernova. I'm so glad that she was cast for Maureen all those years ago because she's only gotten better with time.

Good luck to anyone in future playing Liz/Beth. Idina, like in wicked, has certainly set the bar. Her voice is outstanding and so powerful. This part suits her so much, like it was made for her. Just wow!!

I was there for the final performance yesterday, and this song was one of the most moving performances I've ever seen. The entire audience could feel the emotion Idina was putting into this, and it was overwhelming. Thank you, If/Then cast. This show was a gift.

I hope they record this show and release a DVD so I can watch the entire show... living half the globe from Broadway is so unfortunate for me :( And btw Miss Idina is flawless. Her voice, her emotion, everything about her is just so precious :D

She's a QUEEN

Idina is one of those vocalists/singers/artists with an extra-unique voice. You'll always know it's them the first note of the song. And the power in her voice!

Little did I know that the last performance and trip that I would experience my husband was December 2019. We happened to see Idina at a taping of Stephen Colbert and she was magnificent, singing a holiday song twice (to get it perfect). This song and video hit the nail on the head, the cardigan and t-shirt are my constant wardrobe and here I am starting over.

Beautiful show, beautiful score, beautiful cast! Still pissed they didn't get the recognition it deserves during the Tony's!

Queen queen queen queen queen

I was fortunate enough to see If/Then in the final week of its run. I had been listening to it since the day after the soundtrack came out, at least once or twice a week since then. It is a show that has influenced me greatly in my personal life, and encouraged me to push through some very difficult things. Idina has always had a way with her music, but this show was the very best, the most I could ever hope for. The deep, emotional connection felt through the music, it has a magical power about it. I wish the show had done better, because more people deserve the possibility to experience this tale of love, loss, and possibilities.

I saw the show's opening night here in SF last Wednesday and I am seeing it this Wednesday again because it is THAT good.

I love that this song tells a story but is also open enough to where it could apply to pretty much anything, especially that bridge. One of the best things about music is you can use it in the context of your own life, a situation, person, journey and apply it as inspiration and clarity.

I found this song so instrumental in my recovery and healing after I lost my late wife to Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2012. She came and picked me up at a time where I was getting over a very bad breakup. Every word, I could see myself singing to her, including the "F you" line, as I loved her that much and I was that mad that she had to leave and I was sucked into loving her completely. I still listen to it today, as it still has healing power of not giving up and doing everything you have to in order to move forward.

I saw this show 4 years ago today. It was my first Broadway show actually on Broadway. I've seen 18 now, and this is the absolute best song I've ever witnessed.
