Idina and Norbert singing their iconic song from the musical Wicked, As Long As You're Mine. Performed at the A Broaderway Benefit at BB King's in NYC on 5/1/17.
Amen. They can say shit like so and so is better than ChenZel or any of the OBC but they are, and will always be, the best ones on their respective roles.
i can't imagine the amount of emotional soldiering up they had to do, like, immediately for this. they were work partners for a while. a decade ago or so. and now they have to 1. meet again (oh hey whats up! i haven't seen you in forever!) and 2. warm up a crowd AND themselves as they're saying hi again AND 3. sing a song together about being in love with each other 4. they probably haven't sung in YEARS besides a practice or two 5. in a snap. I do not envy that part of their job. his "up that i fell" note kills me every time.
4:40 is so funny, her voice when she's getting mad at him. And I love how they both go down at 5:19 to hold that note 5:48 Awww! (6:00) When she says, "This is the rehearsal!", I like her little smirk
Oh, wow! Beyond compare. Original is, and will always be, the best. They can try to make a good or maybe even a great movie, but nothing and no one can replace the original Broadway cast. No live action can beat this. Oh, and this performance? Fiyaraba forever here!
@@carlosalejandroalvarenga4913 It's a reference to the 2014 Oscars where John Travolta accidentally called Idina Menzel Adele Dazeem before she performed Let It Go.
In therms os belting and nailing the vocals the only one that comes close to Norbet is Aaron Tveit. I wont accept any version of the Movie that he isnt Fiyero
BeanBag343 ikr I’m shook. It’s so beautiful! Norbert is such a great guy. It’s weird cus I’ve looked them both up before and never came across who they were married to. Like a Mandela effect or something
