We love Karl Pilkington here in the U.K. He represents the everyday man that doesn’t care for anything fancy or foreign lands. @Pork Sword Fighter I'm on Chemotherapy treatment, I've got family with cancer receiving all kinds of treatment. I've had 3 scans in a month, spoken to 4 different consultants in the last 5 weeks. I've got an operation in 4 weeks I've delayed myself twice now because I'm so overwhelmed with multiple medical appointments that I cannot cope. Cancer and other sick patients are being treated.

Like Karl I was shocked about the toilets in China when I went for a holiday. And the no toilet paper is a proper thing. I carried baby wipes with me the entire time 🤣

The best thing about Karl is he says a lot of the same things people think, but are to afraid to say. But he says it out of general bewilderment or naivety, not like an asshole. He is not trying to be a rude or a prick, he genuinely is curious or whatever. It's not him putting on an act. It is so hilarious to watch him, and a treat to watch y'all react. Please don't stop. This made my depression and ptsd disappear for a bit. Thank you so much.😘

I've been a massive Karl Pilkington fan for years and years and I will never get bored of seeing/hearing his stuff. Seeing people experience his idiotic genius for the first time makes me happy. 29:13 the toilet paper observation is an apt one from Carl to be fair. In some touristy areas of beijing the government had to add a face scanner to the toilet paper dispensers as old people would come and steal it all when it was replaced each morning. That is the reason non tourist areas dont have any roll at all since it would have just been taken, it's like a big thing in chinese culture especially with the old that you take advantage of free stuff. This is the reason that chinese people in all you can eat buffets are seen only eating crab, crawfish and lobster since that is the most value for money things you can eat. I remember on a school trip with my chinese class in Taiwan one of my class mates heard a chuckle when he went to get some rice at a japanese buffet, it was clear that it was him they were giggeling at, as rice only makes you full and costs nothing, so that isnt actually as dumb as it sounds from Carl.

Well done lads, another fantastic review 👏. Pity about the hiccup to begin with, but you kept going. All of The Idiot Abroads are hilarious. I enjoyed his Mexico and Brazil tours. A few folk on here are asking if you might review Top Gear. They have done specials, my two favourites were Middle East and the India one, but all of them are super funny.

Pyramids were a massive fucking let down. Spent 9 hours in a minibus with no air con driving through the badlands where the body guard had to pay off local militias, and when we got there there was a KFC right by the car park!! Then some fucker on a camel stole my camera and another guy chased my wife and I around one of the smaller pyramids on his camel shouting “ it is forbidden” because he believed I should pay him £20 for something he’d shoved in my hand 😂. Glad we left because the revolution happened not long after!! Shit place.
