We managed to escape finally during lockdown in Harry our Fiord Auto Camper for a few nights in Benllech Anglesey and make some rookie mistakes but have fun just being out.
Our names our Stew & Jane and along with 'Harry' our Auto Campers Ford Custom Transit campervan we are Getaway Geese, we record our adventures as we enjoy the freedom of vanlife. We hope our videos inform and maybe inspire you to vanlife whether that be permanent living or casual trips.

Great review of Benllech, if you visit again have a look at the Ship inn at Red Wharf Bay , great for having a beer outside and admiring the view , and St David’s for a lunch time meal, or the Bull for a carvery

Enjoying all your videos which was are watching/binging in sequence. Love hearing Jane's narration. Such a lovely voice. We have spent many trips in the UK and beyond; however Covid has stopped us visiting but we are hoping to do the Shropshire Way next year: 2023. Hey Donna first a foremost many thanks for commenting and watching. Our channel has evolved as we have learned to film and tell a story and Jane only started narrating quite recently and I think like you does a great job. She will love your feedback to encourage to be in the films and be engaged …..Shropshire indeed is a great place and a gateway into wales. I hope covid will soon allow us all to move a bit easier …. We hope to visit NZ and Australia ourselves

We did the convoy traffic lights a-few months back! It was hilarious - we were the lead car, it was hilarious, it was like we couldn’t be trusted to drive through alone! Loved your video, don’t worry, loads of people call it Betsy co ed. We’ve not been to Benllech for years. Nice to see it again. Great work x

Apart from the fact that we are two blokes, and you are one of each, you don't half remind us of us two. Lots of tongue in cheek bickering and cock ups. Really enjoyed watching this. After the Lakes, Anglesey is our favourite place and we even talked about moving there a couple of years ago. Only one complaint about this video.....we didn't get a flash of Klingon.......we are still waiting😁

Just found your site where you are in anglesey benllech you two sound like me and the wife .and buy the way thats happend to me emptying the toilet the wife thought it was so funny as i was walking with the toilet i had a big trail of you now what all the way down the path behind me to the waste point it all fun ha ha

My great grandfather was a stone mason working on those tunnels between the wars, he would cycle from Beaumaris on Anglesey, put a 12 hour day of graft and then cycle back...we don't know we're born these days.

It's free to free camp in Benllech on the car park up behind the toilets adjacent to the Beach where you got your ice cream...I live there...also best to free camp at Parry's mountain...copper works..no one will bother you there...there's a flat car park...freshly tarmacked

Hey thanks for watching and commenting - I know the car park you mean as walk passed it most days - that’s a great tip. Never went to the copper works but saw life to short video on it and I know it’s got a height barrier but think there is a lay-by opposite unless you mean somewhere else that is

Great to see you take along journey again in the van to a wonderful part of the British Isles. ..... does Jane realise that you're supposed to 'talk to camera' and not behind it? Jane's secret fan club members are waiting for another appearance (Christmas Special maybe?)

Jane made initial appearances but it’s like teasing a mouse out the skirting board lol it’s like that tool store American comedy so she is like the unseen neighbour

Very enjoyable episode, we enjoyed all the banter and had a laugh at your exploits with the electric cable and toilet emptying. Stew, was that your alter ego, “Dora the Explorer” in the still at the end or did we get a peak at Jane 😁

That was a fully approved picture of Jane having gone through her lawyers she was suitably wrapped up in a coat. The approval tends to take a few months to done though lol

Enjoyed your introduction video meeting both of you and Harry. Since then all your presentations have turned into the ‘Stew Show’ with just the entire show showing him, nothing shown of Jane, who seems to have been relegated to camera operator and commentator. Boring. Could I politely suggest you have a look at Life’s like that with Ken and Carol for some production tips involving both of you, as quite frankly just seeing Stew is monotonous..just saying,

Thanks David for the feedback … in the early videos Jane did not want to be in camera and we know Ken and Carol well as friends. If you look at the latest videos say the last 12 months Jane is now more front of camera and also narrating. I realise the one side view and how boring I can be as Jane often tells me 😞 Take a look at the last couple and let me know

Thanks for the feedback Dave. Like stew says I am now in the videos coming up alot more. But the amount of times I’m infront of the camera is all down to me entirely and out of Stews control so unfortuately he just has to work with what he has - Jane
