For anyone who is curious about it, the mother duck may have swam away, but ducks are very attached to each other, so when the people leave, or far enough away she’ll go and retrieve them
What I didn't see any ducks get killed? the mother duck swan to the other side and then the baby's followed if they ended up in sea then they would swim to land.

First of all, mother linked up with the ducklings you can see it in the video itself, secondly I’ve heard about the scent thing, hopefully the one duckling the guy touched for a couple of seconds might be able to find some water to wash off the scent.

certain ducks CAN live in the ocean. I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and looked through the giant glass window that shows the open ocean and could only see the bottom of a duck on the surface. It dove down and bit a tiny piece off a fish(that continued to swim around with chunks missing from it). The duck repeatedly dove down and targeted the same tiny fish that continued to swim around w/chunks taken out of him like it was oblivious. I'm sure baby ducks couldn't survive ocean waves, but some adult ducks can.

I know everyone is saying oh they were helping it if you look when they try to get to the mother you see them just fall under water and you don’t hear them anymore
You don’t see them “fall” under the water, If you watch closely you’ll see the mother duck swim over to the other side of the shoot(thing in the center) and slide down to meet with the her ducklings. The moment they see her they swim over, and they go quiet because they’re reunited and calm, even the last duckling makes it.
The other animals need to eat as well I don’t know why your all getting bent out of shape over baby ducks being sweats down river, it’s called the circle of life
