Trees like this line almost every highway and interstate in the southeast. What’s really beautiful is when you find a town or city street lined with mossy oak trees. That’s a sight to behold!
@@CranioUomo That is an often quoted misunderstanding. If you are not involved in the accident itself, you are not required to stop or render aid, at least in South Carolina, where this took place. Section 56-5-1210 outlines the requirements, and does not say anything about drivers not involved.
The blue and red cars were driving like dicks, but if you watch it, you can see the blue one was just driving really fast, not really erratically. The red one was the one to cut through multiple lanes multiple times extremely aggressively. Not surprisingly the blue one was the one to continue without damage and the red one being the one in a wreck.
Yep, the dude on the freeway going 10 over isn't a concern to me. It's the idiot who changes lanes erratically that freaks me out, even when they are going the speed limit. Too unpredictable.
Congratulations, Average Libertarian, with that comment you have just WON THE INTERNET for today. And can you tell him what he's won, Don Pardo? "Yes, I can. Av Lib, you have just won a year's supply of Turtle Wax car care products...nothing can crack the Turtle's back. And, you have won the 64-disc 2021 edition of the World Book Encyclopedia. But that's not all. You've also won a 12-piece Sterling tea service from the Michael C. Fina Company, a case of Rice-a-Roni (the San Francisco Treat), a waist-length, 100% chinchilla jacket from Dicker and Dicker Furs of Beverly Hills, and a gift set from Popeil Industries, including the Pocket Fisherman, Bamboo Steamer, the one and only Veg-a-Matic, the Inside the Egg Scrambler, the Cap Snaffler, and the Showtime Rotisserie...just set it and forget it." All yours, from "Win the Internet."
I live in GA and drive a truck this way a good bit on 85 and I see idiots like this all the time causing these types of accidents. My dash cam picks up stupid shit all the time . It’s amazing I have stayed accident free and no chargeable offenses for over 1.5 million miles up here in the last 23 years . However in a blink of an eye , it can all change and I never forget that fact .
Yep, and I think Road Atlanta is just north of this location and they might have been going up there to watch a race. I have seen these little cars zipping up through this area several times. They act like its their own little personal raceway. They should just rent the Road Atlanta track out themselves and have at it and if there is anything left of their car they can drive home safely and responsibly with the rest of us on the public paid for roadways.
😂😂 yeah mr confederate flag i am sure you always hug the left lane and therefore people need to move around you.😂 Fyi we have no statues of hitler in germany so why are amaricans so proud of enslaving people to build their nation. Very embarrassing actually. I mean without the slaves that build the south. The south would be a s****hole like russia 😂 minus the subway😂
That's a good time to be a witness. Always stop and help out the driver who is not at fault. He will appreciate it as well as law enforcement and the insurance company.
In addition to the cars that caused the accident, I can't get over how people think that the left lanes are for cruising. Unless you are passing, move over to the right lane.
it's called the passing lane anytime I see someone coming up on me and I see they're going faster then me I move out as soon as I can. but other drivers are not as courteous.
Every time I see this happen I say the same thing, nobody....and I do mean absolutely NOBODY should be racing on public highways or streets and I have no sympathy for the driver, everyone is responsible for what they do good or bad and I've seen results up close and don't want to ever again.
You can be more or less safe racing on public streets, like at night with good visibility and nobody around... this is just stupid and dangerous though
@@sigmamale4147 No. The streets aren't for racing. Sure, it might be safer at night, but that doesn't make it completely safe. Maybe there's just 1 car around, but that's at least 1 life you're placing at risk.
Not much power at all; many of the millennials don't improve the car to give more power, but dress it up like wannabe racers - big wings, lowered, coffee-can muffler, etc. They want the look, as they're all about appearances, but they just don't know the mechanicals enough to actually do much to increase power or braking. I see it quite often. A big wing creates so much more drag that the car won't likely be as fast as without it - but it LOOKS COOL, and that's what it's all about. Unfortunately, they're still untrained drivers, unable to handle true high-speed driving. Many car clubs have performance driving courses, but they're seldom for Scions, etc., but the Porsche Club of America has periodic "driver schools" in our area where they will rent a road race track such as Road America for a day and allow club members to learn from experienced instructors. It's not cheap, and neither are the Porsches, but it sure beats wrapping your car around a tree because you didn't know what you were doing, and safety is very important at these sessions.
@@Iridiumcosmos right? What video did that kid watch? I’m sure they’re rated at 150 from factory. And the blocks are super thin so not much room for breathing.
bullnuts101 functional wings are for grip at higher speeds assuming there isn't too much. I don't laugh at the wing because the car is front wheel drive. I laugh because most people don't drive fast enough to even need one..
From playing video games in their bedroom, driving a car in a imaginary virtual world, to climbing into the driver seat of a real car, where deaths can and do happen. These reckless drivers cannot differentiate between reality and imaginary.
What?!?!?!!?!? You mean to tell me that giant wing didn't help him maintain superior control over his vehicle? It always works in the movies and video games!
Yep - then he couldn't have gone so fast! Lots of drag on a wing like that, but these teens don't grasp the true science behind things like this. It's all about looks.
Well, whaddaya expect when you strap a picnic table on a car? Of course you can't control it, I mean, sandwiches flying off, candy and juice over a windscreen...... But seriously, when you get a damn fool and a car covered in stuff it never left the factory with, it just upsets the aerodynamics and "poof" it's all over.
When I see drivers like that I know they aren't experienced drivers because people who drive like that are usually very young and don't know how easy it is to lose control
Most are very bad but some are excellent! It's a shame they do this tho. If they want to race, they should go to a racing track, with proper safety features.
Literally saw this once when an Infiniti G37 tried to cut someone off on the left lane going 80+ mph before smashing into the back of a Prius going about 65 mph. Do stupid things win stupid prizes 🤷♂️
@@aimxdy8680 nope, it was a 3 lane highway where lane 1 was wide open and the Prius was in lane 2. The Infiniti was speeding at over 85 mph in the middle lane trying to cut off the car in lane 3 but over estimated the distance and speed of the Prius & wasn’t paying attention when he smashed into the Prius. The Prius was driving at posted speed limits, the end result is the Infiniti is at fault. I’m a former adjuster so it was easy to see who was at fault.
Tonights matchup: 2010 Prius vs. 1998 Honda Civic Both create huge HP at 93 and 105 respectively! DO NOT miss this once in a lifetime opportunity! Racers start your engines and......OH NO a crash before the first turn! I don't know about you folks but I had a great time! Thank you and drive safe!
After my first speeding ticket in an M3, i changed my driving habits big time as it went from 500 a year to 1500 over 3 years. Then i had kids and got a family hauler and smoothed out my driving. Life is good.
If you feel like you are driving fast, you're driving too fast. That simple. For some people, that means driving 85 on the highway - for others, that means 65 on the highway. (assuming 65mph speed limit).
If you feel like you're driving too fast and you're going under the speed limit you should pull over and throw your car keys down a drain and cut your license up and never drive again.
There's something about that section of 85 that just brings out the worst in people. Personally I think making the fast lane an exit to 985 is a major contributor.
I thought this might have been rt 24 from the Cape heading towards Boston, they drive like that all the time in both directions. They even pass at high speeds in the break down lane . Sometimes they die and really mess up the commute.
I am always amazed how reckless drivers usually use their turn signals as they're weaving through traffic.I also laugh when people blow through stop signs at corners without slowing down, but they signal, too.
Weird stuff happens when driving in/near college towns. Last time I was driving out of G’ville heading south, a truck moving a mattress in the bed didn’t have it strapped in well enough so the mattress took flight and kart wheeled across all lanes. It was immediately in front of me and, thankfully, had no surrounding traffic so I could swerve around it safely.
Sometimes it is difficult to have remorse - when you see such behavior. Yes, I drive very fast, but not in traffic and never in residential neighborhoods.
Those people pulled over really fast! It was 8 seconds when you saw smoke to the time you see the red car pulled over AND there were 3 other cars pulled over to the side as well. One person was standing outside his car, too.
This is why kids... You never rice up your god damn car. You don't "slam" your car into the ground. You don't negative camber your tires into oblivion. You don't add ridiculously stupid wing to just make it look like a race car. If you want to street race properly and actually make your car functional instead of a driveable sirkus then you do some serious mods to it. Like PROPERLY lowered car height which actually ADDS benefits to stability. Proper and expensive suspension not those cheap ass "slam" suspension shits which plays the BIGGEST role in the stability of the car since no road is perfectly smooth. You want to camber your car PROPERLY so you actually gain STABILITY for more SPEED in corners and NEVER do shitty tire stretching. You add a WING that actually BRINGS downforce IF NEEDED on a given car. You go to a wind tunnel and do some serious testing to see which wing will give the benefit. If you do all these steps you may proceed racing on the streets.
They need to go to Road Atlanta when Skip Barber Racing School is there. I know they don’t have a “Driving While Stupid” course. They do have awesome racing and car control schools.
There are a number of schools like Barber, and most teach a lot more than "racing" tactics too. I've been to a few, and they have classes at a lot of premier tracks (Road America, Brainerd, etc.) so you can find one near your location. If you're concerned about cost, check out good car clubs; the Porsche Club of America chapters run schools periodically, and if you contact the local club you can get info. They have good instructors, and we've been to Road America as one venue. The prices are reasonable ($350+) and they're very safety-aware, but the real problem is the maturity of the drivers in this video above. A good friend and I used to go to the PCA events in the Midwest as they were very well run and you can't beat running at a real track. There is no tolerance for the antics of these ricers, either.
Just curious if the person who took this video contacted the highway patrol to let them know about it or did you just post it on RU-vid because I see you didn't do what I did when I caught on video and accident. I stopped and made everyone aware I have the video and a copy if their insurance companies need it. I'm sure those people would've appreciated knowing there was video because all too often, the at fault drivers lie and with this video, the investigators would be able to do a time-distance calculation for the speed of that red car.
@@sixzerozero3187 So we can't disrespect this idiots who could of gotten someone killed? Nope they don't deserve ANY kind of respect and neither do you.
I see this on I40 in Raleigh NC about every day. People have no respect for others. 75-80 mph like it's a race track. Where is the law when you need them?
Bugz Murphy if those left lane hoggers weren’t hogging left lane this wouldn’t happen, this so called ricers are more professional drivers then most of you old stupid left lane pussy hoggers. Fuck off from this racers, keep right except to pass and this crash wouldn’t happen
@@fasthighwaydriver59732 those two are idiots they aren’t professional they are dumbasses attempting to race. Professional racers don’t race on streets and ricers have no brains nor tastes in cars and parts
I drive truck through Georgia all the time. I see this kind of idiocy frequently there and it’s my opinion that Georgia has some of the worst drivers in the nation, and I’m not alone in this opinion. Many other commercial drivers are also convinced of this.
It's really hard to see exactly what happened. it looks like the red ricer locked the wheels by standing on the brakes. Which of the other cars did he hit? The ones on the shoulder don't look dented.
He likely didn't hit anyone. His car has got to handle like shit. My best guess is he tried to make a sudden lane change and simply drove off the road.
no not really, cause it doesnt exist. if a invisible god doesnt. then how does a invisible force that someone makes you crash or whatever when you so called do something stupid. ive done this in even more congested traffic messing around with some girl. then we saw what i thought was a stater and in the end i think was a security car. i went passed him going a close to 100 and then sped up to 110-115 weaving in and out of traffic to get away. went 2 exists then got off and went to my house. it was raining as well. where was that invisible force then. ive done so many things that now i realize was stupid and dangerous and never has this non existing force swat me down. plus that is isck to enjoy something bad happening to someone. whether you agree with what they are doing or not. just as sick as people saying natural selection or darwin would approve when someone dies in what they call a stupid way.
This is literally 10 miles away from Road Atlanta, where you can buy a track experience with any number of car clubs. Hopefully no one was hurt here. 🙄😣
Entries, exits, exchanges on Interstates are extremely dangerous at times by design limitations, at times due to speeding reckless drivers. Speed limits are statutory by nature meaning conditions are not included such as nighttime, rain, fog, snow, floods, etc. These two drivers apparently used to just going fast for fast’s sake, created a dangerous situation and, if I counted correctly, 3 other drivers were victimized by the one if them. 55 mph? Too slow. 65 mph? Too slow!! Now, it’s 70 to 90 mph and still creeping UP! No wonder the death and severe injuries rates are out of control. Thanks
Notice lack of sight of what happened when the incident occurred, thus video is otherwise not very useful for evidence other than showing they were speeding and driving "recklessly"
Paul Walker was actually the passenger, not the driver, in the Porsche when he died. The rest were simply character roles that he played as a professional actor. Do you think, perhaps, that you might cut the guy, actually a *victim* of reckless driving rather than a perpetrator, just a bit of slack?
The "Zippers" never get the speeding ticket Its always the one friving the speed of flowing traffic that gets the ticket for doing 67 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. The sae speed as the surrounding traffic. Smokey says he clocked you at 80 MPH while he was speeding to catch up with you.
