Chanhyuk's hard-core Marines choice at first seemed unexpected since he's a small guy, BUT it's actually COMPLETELY in line with his personality. Leaving a song behind that is now part of the Marines' official repertoire is not surprising. He's such an effortless badass and looks at everything as a new experience. Although they met, I only wish that he and Minho could've served together. Two super competitive dudes.👏👍 [Canhyuk's memes were hilarious and iconic. This man's a meme-machine!]

ahh seungi and his love for his military life. We all know why he thrived so much there but its even better to see him get so excited and talk forever about it! haha
I am seeing these video being an army .Jin has served 1.5 weeks .it seems fun and tough at the same time .i have huge respect for all Korean men literally for forgetting every thing else for like 18 months straight .
After watching this i finally understood why korean armys are worried that Jungkook might enlist in the marine. Cause it sounds like something he migh find interesting lol
Among the navy (marine), air force & defence (land) forces here, I somehow really like the Navy folks. I mean yk I have this obsession with Oceans & if I could, I'd love to work near to or on the ocean itself. Something about ocean really fascinates me so my ears perked when Minho said he tried to join the marine troops. Ik it's the same logic as a child going "I'd love to fly in the air like a bird so I wanna be a pilot!" but seriously man even if it's something as trivial as this, it brings a lil' bit of hope in doing your boring work, or making your hard work a bit less tiring. Well that's what I thought anyways, but after being introduced to like 1/4th of the basic military training (again it was honestly just introduction all we really did was do parade under scorching hot sun & disciplined on how to give out commands so not even 1/4th tbh but the training felt very military like) I was like "Nope. Military def ain't in my career options anytime soon" Imao
I remember this one translated k-army post that was wishing the guys well and what they hoped for the guys in the military. And for Jungkook, it was "Please come home." because they also think he'd go to the Marines and prolly like it a lot. Maybe too much lol
I was just thinking about him, I can't believe he went through such lengths to avoid it. I understand its a very big hit or miss for many men, but I don't think idols suffer as much as regular Korean men in the army. They have their privacy violated sometimes (depends on how famous they are) which is awful, but they aren't likely to get the truly horrifying experiences that many normal Korean men have had. Ravi literally threw away his entire career to avoid the 2 years in the military. It's extremely sad, especially because all his other VIXX members went and completed their service without problems. He's probably regretting it big time now, the man traded military service for a criminal record, and the Korean public is not forgiving so he won't be able to return from this scandal.
