Nobody does this but you can do mortals on 6’s with the priest soulscryer and reroll 1’s with thrallmaster. Only explanation that I found.

Actually, reroll 1's has it's place. if you are going to be rolling on 2's to hit, the difference in damage is, like, ~14% more damage vs. ~17%. I don't know about you, but I don't really care about that 3%. The difference is, you roll more dice with reroll 1's on the hit roll, so it's more consistent. I use it all the time to try to offset my bad luck. and if I got lotan, the turtle, and CPs to juice my thralls, who are doing 2 damage per attack on 2's, rend AT LEAST -1 (maybe more with sea Eidolon or Purple Sun), I don't really care whether I overkill my target by 5 wounds instead of 2-3. I just want to consistently hit that average. I'll YOLO an exploding 6s unit if I got 5 thralls left against an elite unit, and I def pick it more often than reroll 1s, but I like the consistency, at times. But only when I'm rolling 2s to hit. Math doesn't work out otherwise.

We do have some Skaven Reports over on our website, I thought we had one here too on RU-vid? We have paused Sigmar for a bit to build up some more armies and do some Old World/other game coverage too, but we’ll return in the future :)

This was definitely true in second edition but they're a middle-bottom tier army nowadays. These fishies are squishy and so they die very easily.

@@fletchdub Yeah it seems horrendously balanced from a competitive perspective and like it failed in making it easier for beginners. Hopefully the codices will fix it but making all wargear free feels like a terrible move.
