Great video review and explanations! The divers had an major issue along with software, not much in the way of customer assistance from the manufacturer . The programs weren't matching the product numbers. Was able to finish printing after watching this.
mine come out with wavy lines all over the barcode. this is definitely a waste of time product as I have spent hours messing with it and have done all the setup according to the manual. It is not as easy as all these youtube videos make it sound. Did you make sure you put the stickers in with the sticker side facing up?
I just grabbed one of these from Bezo's House for just over $100. USB/Wi-Fi and plug-n-play notwithstanding, it was money VERY well spent. Such a time saver...
Hello, it tells me I need to configure. I try to manually put in the manufacture, which I do but when I go to add the model, the manufacture iDPRT keeps disappearing. Any suggestions?
aww it's okay lol you don't need to use the cd.. If your computer has a cd slot you can use the cd to install the software.. But you can also download the software if you don't have a cd slot ~B
Any chance anyone might know why the driver won’t successfully complete after clicking finish? I can get to that point but it says the driver failed to install.
The only thing I can think of is maybe you missed a step? I'd double check! If it still doesn't work, I'd see if the manufacturer can help or replace it! ~B
If you are having trouble getting the iDPRT Thermal Label Printer SP410 to show up as a printer on your MacBook Pro running Ventura, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue: 1. Make sure that your printer is properly connected to your MacBook Pro and turned on. Check the printer's manual for instructions on how to connect it to your computer. 2. Verify that the printer is compatible with your MacBook Pro and that you have installed the correct driver for it. Check the printer's manual or the manufacturer's website for information on which drivers are required. 3. Try resetting the printer and restarting your MacBook Pro. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues. 4. If none of the above steps work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver. This can sometimes resolve issues with printer recognition. If you are still unable to get the printer to show up as a printer on your MacBook Pro, you may need to contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance or consider using a different printer that is compatible with your system. cnl
I have not been able to print the smaller codes. They keep printing vertically instead of horizontally. Super annoying have been playing with the settings for hours
What a headache this model is. How it has so many positive reviews is beyond me. I’ve used multiple thermal printers and have never had more trouble than with this model
Mine isnt showing up as plug and play compatible. i unzipped the file and downloaded everything. what should i do? its asking me how i want to connect it and then doesn't find it.
I purchased this printer and I am going nuts! It is using an ascii font and the quality of the print is just horrible. Please, can you give me an idea of what fonts can be used for this printer?
Sorry it's driving you nuts! Don't want that. Does your print quality look worse than mine did? Because like I said in the vid, it wasn't the best printer quality, but was good enough in my opinion. If yours looks worse than mine did, I'd call customer support ~B
To troubleshoot the problem, I recommend reaching out to iDPRT's customer support directly. They will have the expertise and knowledge to guide you through the specific steps and provide assistance tailored to your situation. They can help you determine if there are any additional configurations or troubleshooting steps required to ensure a smooth experience with your thermal label printer. Customer support is usually the best resource for addressing technical issues and resolving any difficulties you may encounter with your device. I hope you're able to find a resolution to the problem and have a positive experience with your iDPRT Thermal Label Printer SP410. cnl
Does anyone know how to fix my printer the label there seems to be an invisible line from top to bottom, going right into the center of the bar code, so when the post office try's to scan it wont work...any clues ??
Super frustrated and hoping that, perhaps, you can offer me some guidance. So I bought this exact printer in March 2021. I set it up exactly as your video just showed and then attempted to print a label for an ebay item I'd sold. The only thing it would do is wake up and feed the label through but with no print on the label. It was yet blank. I then contacted the company via email and have 4 separate conversations with them. Nothing they said worked. They asked if I'd installed driver. Answer: Yes, The asked if I had correct thermal labels. Answer: Yes. They had me do a Printer Self Test - It worked and printed fine. Today I got the printer out hoping that because we'd bought an updated mac, perhaps it would work. NOPE. Exact same issues. I am baffled and wondering if you might shed any light on the problem or potential problem?? Also, since having bought this over a year ago, I have continued printing on reg printer and cutting/taping etc. I, soon, will be needing to use it to print a ton of labels and truly do not want to print on printer and cut them all out and then tape to pkgs. WHICH is why I bought it to begin with. Anyhow, David, super anxious for any help I can get. Thanks so much!! Mindy
Sorry to hear about your struggle. Have you checked to make sure the sensor is clean? I don't know if that will help, but please keep me posted! Good luck! ~B
I just downloaded and when I double click the file labeled iDprt my Mcafee blocks it and says "we just blocked a virus". I overrode that by disabling MCafee and after two hours of set up my barcodes have wavy lines on the edges (like lace). This is a complete waste of my time.
Hmmm I have no idea about the wavey lines... I feel you on the setup process as it's silly the drivers don't automatically download. I haven't had the waves so my only thought is make sure the label is properly installed?
