Is it that parents let their kids rather play these games, because they don't understand the games and then they think those games with cute graphics are less harmful? 🤔

high return for low investment. a game like vainglory is unique. requires designs. quality servers, anti cheat software, an always attentive team to upkeep, tournaments and e sport support and quality voice acting. those shitty kids games you mentioned are copy and pasted clones with reused assets. they require low maintaince and print money because their main goal is getting kids to waste their parents money on the ipad while their parents work tirelessly. its sucks but thats reality. vainglory was an awesome game that should have released on pc and consoles straight away at the peak of the MOBA gaming craze

the current state of games on mobile devices pushes revenue over quality because its primary audience wont pay an entry fee but is far more likely to spend money on cosmetics and virtual currency.

The games dead in the water, the nicest way to put it is to just not invest your time into it, game was amazing a few years back but since semc dipped out as they screwed up monetization of the game they just gave the game to the public. It was a sad time for all vainglory fans
