It could be possible to use “bollocks” in a commercial or tv show in the US because the word has no meaning here. Case in point: when “4 Weddings and a Funeral” is shown on tv in the US, “fuck” is cut out but “bollocks” - which is shouted repeatedly in a church - is left in.
