She needs to do a selfie drinking a milkshake at a table alone, surrounded by fire and smoke just smugly saying "this is fine". Or blaming someone else for the fire.
My guess is she has Mafia connections. The various companies have cocaine, hookers, and gambling habits. So, somebody like "Tony Soprano" goes up to the owner and says, "You'se gonna hire my goil, 'Heather', or else. Capiche?"
Whaaaat? Turning tmnt into a gorefest of pessimistic stories, killing off characters for no reason other than cheap shock value, making splinter a villain and then killing him off in the most mean spirited way....DID NOT WORK???? i am surprised...
Antos is a perfect example of failing upward in the comics business. How many comic companies has she left, leaving them in chaos as she exits? Someone else always has to clean up the mess she leaves behind--if it can be salvaged at all.
I bought that Star Trek Defiant trade a few months ago.. it was only $7-8 dollars… it was so bad…I actually returned it to Amazon. I love Star Trek.. but other than Picard season 3 and some of the animated stuff…it’s dead.
Absolutely not I don't know about you but they've been doing a good job with the Godzilla license why do they need to lose that you make no sense as far as I can tell fans were very pleased with these comics so why on Earth being Godzilla needs to go to boom
@@animezilla4486 considering when they first got the license the comics had great art and this time the art is incredibly hit or miss, just look at Godzilla Rivals that series flip flops so hard between great art like the Spacegodzilla issue and absolute crap like the vs. Manda or Destroyah vs Biollante issues and not to mention we used to get great stories like Half Century War and now theres one out about a bunch of dumb skater kids who instead of evacuating during a Kaiju battle they try to save a condemned building they hang out at
Wanted IDW to die since they ruined Transformers. Turned the franchise into a DnD campaign for pastel coloured theatre kids. Now most of the fandom think that the IDW characterisations are the core or main canon. They hate Simon Furman for not being lib enough despite him creating so much of the lore in the Marvel era. Now Skybound has made some really cool back to basics comics for the IP but I can sense the tourists from the IDW era haven't left us alone yet
Me too. IDW has ruined so much. I love and collect Transformers since I was preteen (50 now) and also love TMNT. Even now IDW is thrown into new stuff or people reference it. . .
I miss IDW’s vintage, classic LI’L ABNER, STEVE CANYON and DICK TRACY hardcovers, which were brilliant but apparently didn’t sell well. I couldn’t be less interested in TMNT or the other modern stuff.
What does your source say about the Sonic the Hedgehog license? We've been getting mixed signals from the writers but what is the actual state of the license behind the scenes?
There is no point in doing business with any company that will hire someone like this Heather "person". TMNT fans need to walk away and never look back. The only thing continuing to buy TMNT comics will do is give the Heather "person" more money because she just happens to be at IDW.
uuuhhhhh.... Why allow IDW to keep the Star Trek license? Sure, no one else wants it. Whoever owns Star Trek should just make their own comic books to ensure high quality in order to rebuild the brand.
I guess Paramount wanted a little more money in the bank before they got bought by Skydance. Anything to make the books look better. Whatever happens to Paramount, by next year this will be over and the new owners can make new deals.
@@Dreamfox-df6bg It depends on what the terms of the contract are. Maybe the new owner is not on board with the plan the weird "people" have and the contract was made to make sure the weird "people" at IDW can keep control of the comic books regardless of what the new owner wants. Maybe the new owner is, indeed, on board with the plan the weird "people" have. Nothing will change then. The rest of us should just walk away and not look back.
Well damn!! Theyve shook up everything, shoveled in all their buddies, and wrecked the products!!! How could it NOT SUCCEED...??? Has the world gone mad..? That was sarcasm, znd yes,it has....
The IDW situation just makes me think about the Disney plus Star wars situation with Kathleen Kennedy. The fact that these people stay in positions of power for so long can only mean that it's because they are getting money from somewhere else. Most likely black guard and vanguard. As long as they tick off dei ESG tick boxes, Black Rock and vanguard are going to continue giving the money. But that's not going to last for very long. So far this whole entire thing has been nothing but a big money pit that burns
The success of Wukong, the unprecedented disaster of Concord, and now this... I feel like the tide is turning. People are sick of having a quasi-religious political agenda crammed down their throats and they are finally voting with their wallets.
Maybe there were some decent people still at IDW. Either all the decent people left already, or... the decent people still at IDW have been there so long that they have become tainted and are no longer decent. A lesson to everyone: If a company is going down and is filling up with corrupt "people" it is time to leave ASAP before becoming tainted.
They did not “get delisted” the voluntarily placed themselves on the OTC market so they could shift cost and focus elsewhere. You can still buy IDW stock.
I've been a fan of the sonic comics for years, so it is concerning for me in that regard, But Sonic is one of those series that's been running as a comic series no matter what happens to IDW the comic will just go somewhere else like with Transformers comics.
whats wild is that the TMNT comic was doing pretty well imo until it got to the Dragon arc when Splinter kills Saki (shredder) then everything went tits up it was so weird. even the art took a hit.
How can you ruin a concept as simple and fun as tmnt? Simple, zacksnyder it into an uber violent and gorey comic, with nothing but dark and terrible stories. I cant believe how much idw simply ruined tmnt comics lore. I mean....they made splinter a villain wose than shredder....that thing , only that thing is enough a signal to see this book was going nowhere.
When older stories are better than modern books, there's a problem. You'd think they'd notice prior to having to let people go.. I guess some folks learn slower than others. 😅
Which is sad because we went from great stories like Half Century War and Rulers of Earth to stand-alone stories that trade off between shit writing and shit art with every issue and miniseries about kids trying to save a run down skate park during a Kaiju attack
@@johngonzalez2495 here’s the description of Godzilla: Skate or Die #2 The attack is beginning. Godzilla is emerging from the ocean. Varan is walking across the outback. And the skater punks? They’re in the middle of it all. With their field trip interrupted, and all of Australia thrown into high alert from a rare kaiju attack, Jimmy and his friends have to skate across town, while dodging military patrols, to save their beloved skate park.

More lies in this video. There are no sales numbers for TMNT #3 & 4 yet because, contrary to what you said, retailers are not ordering those yet. FOC for #3 is September 9 and #4 is October 7. That is when the orders for those books will be placed. It’s remarkable how easy lying is for you.
@@soulblazerz that’s not what I said at all. There is absolutely a drop off in readers as you get into issues 2/3/4. It’s always been that way with every series. I’m just correcting JDA’s lies about the pre-order numbers for issues 3 & 4. There are no pre-order numbers because retailers haven’t ordered those issues yet.
