I’m afraid so. The floods and storms a few months ago were an obvious evidence of climate change. But unfortunately our government isn’t able to talk clearly about this topic, they always sweep this issue under the rug. :/

Yes, we are experiencing the same here in Korea :( By the way, using 'by' requires verb+ing in this sentence. "...by the summer season becoming longer..." Thanks for your answer!
