Hi , I had 4 days to prepare for my exam. I was quite nervous . But thanks to this channel , i got 8 in overall (R-9 L-9 W-7 and S - 7.5 . I didn't have much time to prepare for writing and speaking. But listening and reading i did it from this channel. I recommend everyone to at least watch all the reading and listening videos from this channel.
Hi Chris! Just wanted to say THANK YOU. I got my results today, and I’m glad to say that I took it from band 6 to band 8 overall! With 8,5 listening, 8,5 reading, 7,5 writing and 7 speaking I am honestly impressed myself as I just had A WEEK to prepare, and I only have your videos to thank!
Hey I am also 12th passed out I put 1 month of quality study and got overall 7 ,if you are passed with English cbse you need max 2-3 months nonetheless you are already good in English@@shyamsharma4658
Good video, But unfortunately IELTS is not only language testing test, but it also test other skills which make it more complicated and difficult for all people...
Thank you Chris, I wish I found about you sooner. I got overall 7 on my IELTS Academic, with 7L, 7R, 7S, 7W. Results. My main piece of advice would be to ''FOCUS''. I lost focus at reading, scrobbling through last 10 questions on my reading part, and knowing that I would surely got a higher grade. Thank you. Note: Please prepare for your IELTS weeks before the real test. I prepared for 3 hours only, and got a overall 7. This would have been higher, please dedicate your time to preparing.
Thank you Chris for your advice. I have used your advice through my practice and I’ve got a 7.5 for reading which is 2 bands higher than my last IELTS exam. I hope I’m not watching anymore IELTS video but I’ll definitely suggest your channel to people who is taking the exam
I had only a week to prepare and take my IELTS test. I only followed your videos and got an overall band score of 7. L-7.5, R-7, W-7, S-7. Thanks for your efforts in making these videos. Greatly appreciate them. Maybe I would've gotten a better score if I had more time. Anyway, I'm happy that I could achieve a 7 with the limited time I had to prepare.
Hey Chris, I'm from Mozambique 🇲🇿 and i wanna thank you for the amazing job you're doing. I got the IELTS score I needed to win a scholarship just by watching your videos and practising what I've learnt from them, you really made my preparation. I'm really grateful. God bless you.
Hi Chris! I'm from Latvia. I wanted to thank you for the videos on this channel. They were a tremendous help with my IELTS preparations. I knew my English was sufficient before the test already, but your tips, strategies and advice helped me feel more confident about doing well on the test. Got band 8 and now I can apply for my Master's studies in Denmark. So grateful!
Your tips were very useful. You were the only person who advised against memorizing specific words for the writing and speaking parts of the task. I watched only your videos to achieve the score I needed. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!
You are a genius sir. You got the right point that we students are facing problems following different strategies of different people. That's why we can't get a score above 6 or 6.5 band.
I took the IELTS test 3 times and I managed to improve from 6 to 8.5 in Reading. Between my 2nd and 3rd retake, I went from 7 to 8.5 only in three months just when I did one thing differently: I stopped reading and understanding the whole text. I find it completely misleading and disingenuous to tell people to fully understand everything in the text. You are a native speaker and you have been teaching IELTS for a living, so obviously it seems easy for you. It is really striking to me though how disconnected you are from relating to your students’ struggle. And why the negativity towards other instructors? For a non-native speaker an 8 is still a progress, and I'm proud of anyone making progress and sharing their journey trying to help! Those instructors’ advice was really helpful for me and I will always be grateful!
@@SamsOpinion Well! You can do it in a shorter period of time, depends on your skills and motivation! 3 months was actually the period that the test was available for me to retake again, there were no free spots before that. But essentially, I give the formula that worked for me and I hope my experience can benefit you to accelerate your learning! But at the end of the day, you have to practice for sometime to achieve that result ! Unfortunately I don’t have the magic wound to make it happen overnight! ;)
Hi Chris, I just want to take a moment to thank you for providing such great tutorials to crack the ielts test. I had my test on the 13th of Jan. Because of your guidance, I was able to score a band 8 (8,8.5,8,7). Thank you! ❤
So I have my IELTS test in a few days. 2 weeks ago I was practicing with the first example you cited. I obtained high scores with their mock tests. As high as 38 out of 40 questions. After practicing all of their mock tests I went onto to the IELTS ready member platform and I failed miserably on their practice tests even scoring as low as 10. Moral lesson, their training platform didn’t exactly prepare me for the exams. I would have failed the IELTS miserably if I had proceeded to write the exams without sourcing for more information. There’s a lot of materials out there, you the student have to firstly understand the IELTS and then once you understand you should be able to filter through accurate and inaccurate training materials. Anyways, all the best to everyone!
Hi Chris! Cant thank you enough for your videos. I just got a band 8 in my first attempt!! I only had a week to prepare for the test so I was really panic. But your videos saved me!! Thank you so much for the tips and knowledges. ❤
Hi, Chris. I will do my IELTS exam on 4th January 2024. I have been watching your videos a lot during the week and i hope that these tips you adviced to me and students will help to pass this test. I want to thank you for every efforts you made to improve people's ielts band❤
Hey chris ,i just wanna say that with your help i got 7.5 in reading and 7 in listening (overall6.5) my requirement was only overall 6 at last , i want to say thank you soooo much!
Hi Chris, greetings from 🇺🇦Ukraine. Before passing my IELTS I was watching your videos for about a week. My overall score is 7,5 and my reading, that I feared I wouldn’t pass, is 8,5. Of course it’s not only your advices that helped me, but they definitely really improved my knowledge about the exam grading system and provided really convenient tips. Thank you!!!
Hi Chris. I am an English teacher and I have taken an IELTS test a few times. I just wanted to tell everyone here that I have seen other IELTS videos about reading on RU-vid and, in comparison, your strategies are more realistic and doable, while I can tell you that the other gurus seems like they have never taken an IELTS test before. They focus on teaching enticing tips and tricks that will never work in the IELTS reading. Now, I understand why you are harsh on other online gurus. You are trying to save people from getting fooled and wasting a lot of money for nothing.
Hi Chris, I recently took the ielts test and got the ielts band 8. Listening: 8, Reading 9, Writing 7, Speaking 7. I just want to say thank you so much for all of your guides and tips, they helped me so much in preparing and building the confidence to take the test!
I can’t believe I wasted 2 weeks, religiously watching and taking in all the informations from E2 IELTS! 😢 I wish I discovered your channel earlier, and I could have avoided wasting my time, the confusion and the tension headache from the other channel. 😂 Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and skills with us. I’m glad I clicked on the suggested video that I’ve been ignoring since I was obsessed with the wrong youtube channel. Well, atleast there’s still time for me to learn the correct and best skills for my upcoming exam. Thanks so much and keep doing what you are doing! 😘😘😘
@@Ieltsadvantage oh you have no idea how relieved I am after I’ve watched your videos. There was something about the essay task 2 that really gave me tension headache. I knew in my gut that it wasn’t giving me 100% of what I needed. After watching three of your videos, that’s when I proved that my instinct was right after all. You just eased all my anxieties away, and I felt that I’m on the right path. For that, I can’t thank you enough. May your company reap all the success that you deserve. 😘
Thanks a lot Chris!, I'm really grateful to you, After watching all your videos and following the strategies along with some practice , I have scored a band 8 overall, 8.5 in listening and reading! Really appreciate your hard work and dedication!
Till now reading was the most difficult part for me because of these gerks, But Thank you sir for sharing the video. Now my eyes are open coz you have proved them wrong with sufficient and significant proofs ❤.
Hi Chris I would like to thank you I never practiced English on my home country therfore ielts was a huge challenge for me . My aim score was 7 speaking and 6.5 over all so I decided to practice speaking and listening as I can get 8 or 9 on listening easily and I ignored writing and reading. Just 1 weak prior my exam my husband sent me invitation for your 5 days writing challenge and your video how to score 8 on reading that's all what I did . On the exam I followed your writing structure and your tips for reading . The result is released 3 days ago 7.5 speaking 8 listening and this is non important I scored 7 in writing just following your structure and 7 in reading following your tips I'm so delighted to find your channel you helped me snd my autistic son to live a better life thank you
Hi there! I just got my IELTS scores and I'm happy to report that I got my desired overall band score of 8 (L 8.5 R 9 W 6.5 S 8.5)! I did flop in the writing portion because I panicked and didn't finish task 2 on time. Something to improve the next time I attempt this test. Thank you so much Mr. Chris for the resources that you have so generously provided. To anyone reading this who is also planning to do the IELTS test, believe that you can do it and practice as much as you can! Your hard work won't betray you. Sending everyone lots of love from Indonesia
Congratulations on your overall IELTS score of 8! Thanks for your kind words about the resources, and it's great to hear they helped. If you ever need any help in the future, you know where we are.

While I luckily only got 7(with your essay builder) and but only 6.5 on speaking cuz I didn't practice it much. With an overall score of 8, your channel has helped me so much

Hey Chris Just wanted to thank you I scored an overall 8 in my first attempt without any professional coaching L9, R8, W7, S7 within two weeks of preparation and I was really stressed about it but your videos made me calm and thank you man from the bottom of my heart
I got an overall score of 8. R - 9, L - 9, W - 6.5, S - 7.5. I prepared for 2 weeks only with your youtube channel. Thank you for everything that you do, Chris!
They aren’t teachers, they are RU-vidrs. Most wouldn’t be able to get an entry-level teaching job in any decent school due to their lack of teaching qualifications. Most don’t even have a high score on the IELTS test itself.
What about the ‘teachers’ selling fake IELTS certificates. Do they have their ‘own way’? What about the RU-vidrs who make up lies about test predictions. Do they have their ‘own way’? What about the RU-vidrs lying to viewers about their qualifications. Do they have their ‘own way’? What about the RU-vidrs who hire models and pretend they are real students. Do they have their ‘own way’? What about the RU-vidrs posting fake success stories. Do they have their ‘own way’?
Hi Chris. I want to thank you. I had my Speaking earlier this week and the others today. I started watch your videos just last week and I must say many of the tips and tricks you shared have really helped me in attempting the test. Although I will receive my results in 2 weeks but I'm positive it will be good.
Hi Chris... today I got my result. L=8.00,R=9.00,W=7.00,S=6.50,OverAll=7.50 I have followed your tips and tricks. I did the preparation only for two days, and your guidance helped me so much. Thank you, Chris.
Once upon a time I was a big fan of that youtuber, then I realised that fact which is explained in this video. Intelligent trick they play with students who are aspirants.
Hello Chris! Just wanted to show my gratitude, your vids help me a lot to score, i only watched yours and Ielts by Asad Yaqub vids 2 days before exam an din only 2 days I was able to score 7 bands overall. The tips you gave for writing, reading and listening questions are amazing. THANKYOU SO MUCH

Thank you, Chris posting this video. I watched many RU-vid videos about teaching students skills. Every time it was unclear, every question has the same skills, which are scanning and skimming. My reading score was terrible, I’m taking VIP course with Ielts advantages now. I wasn’t expected there are massive information and skills to learn and I realized that I was doing WRONG whole time. Thankfully, I feel I found the right professional teacher here. I can’t wait my scores increase near future 🎉 I want to say thank you for passing the right message to the students whoever struggling with Ielts. Once I get aimed scores, I will send out email:) I hope I can become one of your amazing students. 🎉

I will take IELTS Academic paper exam, however I have ADHD that leads me to miss some points. When I am doing mock exam to myself, for the reading part, I am completing within 30 minutes and having band of 6.5. The issue in here is, I forget rapidly what I read and it makes me frustrated. So, my question is "do you have any suggestion for people with ADHD?"
Hi Chris! I wanted to thank you for the videos and all the detailed information you give for us😊. I only prepared for a month and literally had 6-7 classes and got a band 7! I watched your videos about writing on my way to the exam and got the score that I needed 🤍. Thank you, thank you and thank u!!
Maaan I do rarely write comments here in RU-vid I got an overall score 7 thanks for ur Chanel and only for ur Chanel I got 8L 6R 6W and 7 speaking I am happy for my score and I want to share my appreciation for u ❤️ thanks man
@Ieltsadvantage I have a question for you My question is, actually, about comprehension, exactly on reading, there are a lot of problems with my comprehension skills. However, I know enough vocabulary that I think enough but results
Dear Chris, thank you for the amazing work you’re doing with your tutorials. I stumbled on your page 2 weeks to my IELTS exam and your materials really helped me. I got a band 8.0 overall score and speaking 9, listening and reading 8 and writing 7.5 thanks Chris God bless you
Well, It depends on individual’s ability. If you are loaded with full range of vocabularies then you will quickly grasp the ideas. I guess there are no any certain tricks for reading, it’s all about how much you understand from your own knowledge.
Hi Chris, what other worthy resources do you recommend to people who once did Cambridges book and didn’t get their favorite score and now need new resources to practice reading and listening skills?!

Hi there, here's a video to help you with this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3KDP8P-pvEw.html. If you have any further questions or need our team to help you prepare for your exam, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for the great tips but the key takeaways from the video actually starts at 9:56 The rest were just unnecessary and a waste of time. Instead of going on and on about how your strategies work, just go straight to the point. A person in the right mind can tell by themselves if the tips make sense or not. Or at least just explain how they work briefly or at the end instead of more than half the video lol. We already get it that you are professionals and know what you're doing so there's no need to explain or prove it
Hi Chris! My IELTS exams coming soon! I'm so exciting because i started to prepare from English this week . I know that it's very short time. But i learnt something in the past.
