I'd like to talk about one of my distant relatives. It must have been three years ago when I first met him at a family party. I wasn't in the mood for that party but actually, my parents twisted my arms to go there. Then, I was trapped in a conversation with him. Although I heard a lot about him, when I had a chat with him, I realized he was far more talkative than I had expected.
First of all, he usually dominates the conversation and doesn't allow others to share their opinions and finish their words. The conversations with him are mostly like a monologue, not a dialogue. Besides, he talks about some controversial topics like politics and social issues and gives his radical and judgmental opinions. Personally, I prefer to steer clear of these topics at least in a family gathering. Almost all of our relatives agree with me that this person is so opinionated that he can't listen to opposing views and criticism, so it's useless to have a logical discussion with him. Another annoying this person is that he enjoys gossiping and using rude and offensive language. I can't stand talking to these impolite people, but at that part, I had no choice but to bite the bullet.
To put it in a nutshell, personally, I prefer to listen more than I talk and usually avoid having a chat with talkative people. I hope I won't have to meet with this person again and listen to his words.
