I studied a lot for my IELTS test. I wanted to score a band 7, but I couldn't do it. The test for me was stressful and during the listening part I felt a strong headache. Now I have my results listening and reading 6.5, writing 6 and speaking 7, overall 6.5. if it wasn't for my headache I would have scored band 7. My advice is always be relaxed! Feeling nervous is prejudicial for this test! Good Luck for everyone 😊

Hey Chris, I want to say thanks for your videos, they helped me a TON. I had less than 2 weeks to prepare for my test, and I was especially nervous for my writing and speaking tests. I binged a lot of your videos, watched and rewatched a lot of your tips during my break from work. I got S:7.5 W: 7.5 R:8.0 L:9.0 overall 8.0. Hi Chris! I am a native English speaker and I applied for IELTS with just 1 week to prepare, unaware of the structure of the exam(highly do not recommend 😅). By some luck I found your channel 2 days before and binge watched all the important videos. Got my results today-9 for reading, listening and 7.5 for speaking and writing, overall 8.5! I would have gotten through probably but definitely this overall great result was only because I followed your tips. Thank you soo much!!

@@AnandAbbigeri-vu1sq mostly followed the tips from here then tried out some practice papers in the ielts guide book. Also would recommend actually writing out a few essays so you can get a good idea of the word count and the time needed to write. You can search IELTS sample essays and get an idea of what they are looking for. Good luck!

As promised: L:5.5 W:6.5 R:7.0 S:7.5 . I thought I was good in listening 😄. But truth came out! Just 0.5 to achieve 6.0 on listening will make me retake the whole exam! But let’s go. After almost four months of delay, I received my IELTS results today. Overall, I scored 7.0 with a 6.5 in Listening and Writing, 8.5 in Reading and 6.0 in Speaking. Your channel helped me a lot. Hi Chris Pell, I'm 17 and I'm from Vietnam. Just received my result 5 min ago. I scored a band 7.5 overall just for writing and speaking more simply. I literally didn't study or revise at all and just watch your so-called tutorial. truly unbelievable. but I'm gonna join your VIP course when I gather enough money and aim for band 8+. (I'm gonna be an one-to-one English tutor as a part time job to pay for my intuition fee when I'm learning university, so a solid band 8+ is gonna be better). Hi sir, if you don't mind me asking, but I have been wondering about this for a while and I wanted to know if having a lisp would play a detrimental role in lowering the scores for my pronunciation and fluency since I can have a hard time pronouncing certain words with -s sounds and -z sounds. Hey I feel I can advise you on this .. You should read books in English and my personal tip is that whenever you read a passage try to make a summary of each para you read and read the questions at last like after reading the whole paragraph

Dear Chris, I think what we need most are these simulated IELTS speaking tests. They are simply the best dialogue materials or short blogs as reference materials for us. With these simulated speaking tests, people don’t even need to pay special attention to the scope of each speaking test. They can just communicate with the examiner like chatting with a friend in this video.Hope you make more videos like this.😂

Hi Chris, thank you so much for your videos, I just got my IELTS results and I wouldn't be able to achieve those bands without your tips (I've got L - 8.5 ; R - 7.0 ; W - 7.0 ; S - 6.0 (speaking was always my biggest problem, but I am okay with it and this band is enough for me)) Thank you for trully helping people!

Hi there. It is normal to wonder what you could have done differently and even feel nervous after doing a test, but there is nothing you can do about it now. What you should do is just wait until you get your results and we will provide you with the help you need afterward. Hopefully, you won't need it! Best of luck with your scores.
