Mr. Brad, we just got notification from our lawyer that the ICE Office of Chief Counsel is going to recommended my spouses order of removal to be reopened and dismiss the proceedings to allow to apply for Adjustment of Status. When ICE OOC sends this to the board of immigration appeals how long does this usually take to hear something back from the BIA (an estimate). Our lawyer didn't have the answer to that question.

We submitted our asylum application, and now our cases is with the immigration court, and the ICE suggest us to dismiss the case by "dismissal prosecutorial", if we accept that and the judge will be agree, what will happen to us to our status, if we decide to stay in US?

My brother was in removal proceesings. The judge granted the motion to terminate the removal proceedings orally. Now we are waiting for judges written order. It's been almost a month and no paperwork has been recieved by my brother yet. The judge told that it would take about 2 weeks. My question is how long does it usually take to finally give written order after judges oral decision?

What happens if ICE appeals the termination? Can you still notify USCIS of the termination or wait until the time to appeal elapses?
