If an architect can't work, what happens at home? Thank you for watching. if you like this video don`t forget to subscribe!! Have a great day. MonsterKook. ru-vid.com?sub...
You will learn to be patient in ur own unique ways, believe me, what difficult is to take a little bit of risk in stepping into architecture field of study
It would be nice if you would list all the model materials used for your projects or perhaps give the information while narrating your videos. Excellent work and design.
This is absolutely stunning. Definitely a house I would love to build and live it. I really like the modern look if it. I hope you're still making these works of art. So darn cool.
I'm an architecture and design student and I need to know what material you're using to make the molds for the concrete! I'm new to your channel and I've already binge-watched at least seven builds🙈
I am thinking of going to architecture college.. Do you reccomend it? Would you change your job ig you had the chance? Is there enough work possibilities?
@@hanadelic1899 I know a lot of lawyers, business people, project mangers, accountants, but I only know one Architect and she loves her career! Architecture is constantly evolving so if you are young, you will be able to ride the evolving wave as it develops. As a kid I always wanted to be an architect, and I regret never following that dream. If it is what you are passionate about, and what you actually want to do, then do it! As far as work possibilities/opportunities go, that largely depends on where you are in the world and what weight an Architect degree carries. In most places, with an Architect degree you are not limited to drawing up building plans, you could branch into spatial design, civil engineering, quantity surveying, building inspector etc. You can go as far as you want to, in anything you want to, as long as you are passionate, self-disciplined and have a desire to keep improving yourself! Good luck!
@@hanadelic1899 Right now Im a first year Architecture student in America and honestly Im having a lot of fun doing the major albeit it does get tough sometimes when there are deadlines for projects. Overall though, its extremely rewarding when you do make that deadline and finish the project so I think its definitely something to pursue in a career. Its something I've wanted to do since I was a kid so I'm happy that I'm following my dreams :)
@@hanadelic1899 Always will be business opportunists, it all depends on your crafts. And im not a architecture, but one thing i can say that if you're a creative person and you love creating things, and then seing them put into craft in real life. GO FOR IT. I have a hobby where i design game worlds. it's one of the most fun things out there and you can easily put 13 hours into your work without realizing it.
we actually got that too :D - but not made from concrete; it was more like a doll house from wood and plaster so that you could take it apart to have a better look inside. we gifted it back to the architect on the 10th anniversary of the home
@@raphaelho3551 Its the power of editing. Notice how when he puts the barn door on there is a cut in the shadows from when he places it to when he slides it. Great little editing trick he did there though! You can see it at 17:00
His plastic casing that he use before cementing the inner stuff is just insanely precise and neat. I always wonder how the hell he measure with such precision and then glue all the pieces together to make those perfect fittings. Dammn !🔥 Good job lad.
Couldn't you just scale up this process of having mouldes that get filled with metal bars and concrete to speed up real life consutruction projects? Thinking about this, there are probably already solutions out there doing exactly that. Enlighten me pls
Damn, now all he needs is an interior designer to say, damn, I need to make tiny furniture for this cuz it’s impossible not to want to deco the entire thing.
At the start I was confused when the foundations were being layed as to what was happening bc I assumed they would just be making a little foam core house or something but then this guy whips out the literal concrete and I know I’m in for a wild ride
Daughter: "Daddy. I want a doll house." Dad: 'You got it sweetheart." Daughter: "Daddy. I also want it to be fire, earthquake, and bomb proof." Dad: "I'll, uh, see what I can do."
The quality materials are good and perfect , which he is using ,in makeing the models !!!. What I did but long time ago , but without that quality materials just simple hard paper blocks, usually whiteboard only because I haven't got better ones , but today are a big variety of choices and that is a big plus for the people who are is interested in making the little beautiful houses with the lights inside to makes them more realistic and professional , super job !!!.
Sooo many little details! It’s really interesting to watch these processes of designing and putting together to make an amazing and intricate structure 😀
Hello... So today I was just scrolling and found this amazing model... It led me to your channel and OH MY GOD I am obsessed with the models you make 😍 ... Honestly, as an architecture student I would definitely want my models to look this cool and amazing... In your videos I've seen that you use the cement direct from the cup to fill in this structure of walls... I was wondering if I would be better to use a piping bag to fill in the cement... Just a friendly suggestion 😉. Wishing u the best for future and keep making videos like this... Really loveed your work ... 😁
"That first floor looks great. Good job." "It's not done yet. I still have to add the tiling, wall fixtures, doors and lights." "Wow, all that detail? That's going to be real neat for people to look at." "Oh, no one will ever see that. I'm going to seal all off under two more floors and opaque windows."
Hey man, I am really interested in being an architect, could you make a video about how you draw/design/plan your works? I would love to see how you do it because I think the way I do it could be improved by a lot :)
I studied architecture at U of H before computers and we had model building classes for this purpose. Precision cuts were crucial and could make or break a project. These CAD people don't know what they are missing.
@@chriscattelino8169 Yes you are right , nowdays all people generally make there projects on cad or other software and the didn't know how much it feels great when we use our own hands for designing on paper it feels like a we are connected to that we can feel even imagine the working of our project which is much better than that cartoon animation
@@chriscattelino8169 I was here before computers was around as well. But I just find it completely ignorant not to use the tools at our disposal now. I'm sure people back in the day built their houses out of sticks and plant fibers. I bet they would say the same thing about you on precision cutting materials when it's easier just to build it from raw materials. Who is right? Think in the past and you might just get left there.
@@mchlsull In my High School we had a class where they built a house from scratch at 1"=1' scale, cutting each 2X4 stud, etc. It was the most popular class in the department. I tried to get into it twice and it was full both times. Later I had the opportunity to wok for an architect firm because all of their people were CAD trained and could not put pencil to paper, so when the power went out, they were hut down completely. Computers are great, but they have weaknesses.
Bro how are you first time I see your video it so helpful for me God help you and give more success in your life I request you that I am a student of class first year and I want to becomes architecture if you don't mind than i am say that if you are not busy then please gave answered for my questions My first question is that I don't know what is the procedure of this field I have many questions but this one question is most important You are the best youtuber because your videos are aspire and motivated me
This video is what RU-vid should be about. This guy is a true artist. What blows my mind as a finish carpenter myself, is his precision fitting on every piece. Incredible work! Oh, and the ASMR on the sound is perfect! Awesome 👍
I can just imagine MKs daughter one day at school as another girl brags about the Barbie Dream House her parents just bought her. MKs daughter: "Thats cute"
Does anyone know what was used for the concrete/cement mix and also what foam board is used. I'm going to try and create something similar (not as ambitious) for my final year art and design project. Thanks for any help.
You are lucky that you feel healthy enough to making the models . this is my passion and hobby which I can't create any more , because of my illness . I'm unable to keep doing that , but I'm wishing so much to continue do that .Lusiuniu. because I love
I was about to comment that this would be literally the house of my dreams, but before doing it i checked your whole chanel... like dude, how do u do it so that every house you do is indeed my dreamy house. Actually impressed.
@@LUPIPUPI1 lmao imagine malding over somebody's pandemic art project and debating the effectiveness of a miniature house. Don't be the waste of space you're complaining about.
In a way, I'm kinda sad that you can't split apart the floors. It would be brilliant if you could see all the work that's gone on inside the thing after you've built it!
if an arhcitect cant work ... there is a reason for it .. usually ... he isnt good at it proof ... more hallway than living space ..failed in function went for looks and got crap
I was about to comment something like, "What, not going to grout the tile?" then you pulled out the grout and fuckin grouted the tile... I just cannot fathom..
I mean, drawing is most of it I'd say. Anyone who looks down on architects though is an idiot. It's a difficult job and absolutely necessary for any building to take place. Builders without an architect is like a screw without a screwdriver
Im not an architect or anything, but i feel like most people equate architecture with sitting down and drawing a house or something, which is fun if you enjoy drawing houses, but when your an architect i think you dont get to choose what you draw because you have clients telling you what they want.
@@pako3842 your talking about civil engineers as well now. The architect designs the building and civil designs the land and its layout. They also make sure the land is actually usable of course. The architect should know the setbacks on a property and build within it. They also need to leave room for stormwater management and of course a front and back yard. Source: Im a civil engineer (Land development to be exact, not structural)
