On the night of October 10, military Vladyslav was raised on the alarm. At three o'clock in the morning he was already on duty, although it was not his shift - the soldier was supposed to rest. The command warned - the Russians are planning an assault. And so it happened - on October 10, the Russians launched the most massive assault on Avdiivka, a city for which the war has been going on since 2014.
It was difficult in the positions of Vladyslav and his brothers, but the main blow fell on the neighboring positions. the Russians hit the flanks, trying to repeat Bakhmut's scenario and capture the city.
hromadske journalists went to the positions of infantrymen of the 110th separate mechanized brigade named after Colonel-General Mark Bezruchka at night - it is becoming more and more dangerous to enter the city during the day. The entrance to Avdiivka is controlled by Russian drones.
The key role is played by the Avdiivka Coke Chemical Plant - after capturing it, the occupying forces will establish control over the main logistical artery, and the defenders of the city will find themselves surrounded.
"I think that we will endure," answered Serhii, a military man, when asked about the city's future. - If Avdiivka is taken into the ring, it will be a mess. There will be no way out for us - only through battle."
