Here's Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson, but as if it was written by Corrosion of Conformity. ➢My PATREON page: / denispauna ➢Streaming services and social media: linktr.ee/denispauna
I heard the name but never the music, so I clicked on this video to figure out what they sound like lol. P.S. Loved the sound, gotta listen to the band.
@@vovahimself they are great af, they started as a crossover thrash band but later they became stoner metal, I suggest you give a check on Deliverance and Wiseblood, two great records
They managed to pull off being a hardcore punk band, a crossover thrash band, a doom metal band and a Southern rock band and somehow sound authentic doing them all.
I learned about Corrosion of Conformity from an old Soundgarden photo where Kim was wearing a CoC shirt. Man I remember hearing them for the first time; the sludge was unlike most anything I heard up to that point.
Beautiful! Perfectly captures the Deliverance/Wiseblood era COC sound, especially the backing vocals in the chorus, and I hear a bit of Load in there too. Smooth Criminal also always makes for great metal renditions!
Killed it dude! Pepper and Woody are two of my biggest influences as a guitarist and seeing you absolutely nail their sound is so satisfying! Keep the hits comin'!
I saw the headline, and had the nightmare that was the Alien Ant Farm version running through my. Clicked it anyway as you usually do some great work, and damn if you didn't do it again!!! Well done!
Okay I subscribed. Can I do a request? I was with my girlfriend when we heard Reelin in the years by Steely Dan. Now I'm not a fan so much but I do like that song, but she does not. So I said "I bet you'd like it if Iron Maiden played it." She scoffed and made a gagging noise. So will you accept the challenge and help prove me right by doing a "What if Iron Maiden wrote Reelin in the Years"? I'm talking early 80s Maiden, Piece of Mind... Where Eagles Dare in particular. If you accept this challenge, I will watch your videos every day forever.
I like corrosion, but damn thar song sounds way better than any of their stuff. It sounds like crowbar mixed with something better. All I know is it kicks ass.
