Novel thought, if these NPC’s would avoid the left lane except when act actively passing, it wouldn’t be a thing. Just a video of a dude driving 20 over and bumpin’ his music…
I used to drive this route literally every day for years, both to JFK and LaGuardia, and I feel a sense of satisfaction watching you drive around this traffic so fluid like. 😌
Honda Mom's Scoreboard - 15 points: zebra use deductions 2:33 2:39 5:03 + 10 points: whiteline bonus 3:15 4:54 *FINAL SCORE: 95/100* As a side note 3:55 is why shoulder use is a huge deduction. lol @ my scoreboard
I’ve driven around that dead man’s corner about 1000 times before and I’d like to say respect for taking it easy… too many tragedies have happened there . Certified !
I had a friend that used to drive like this on the freeways in Los Angeles, "HAD a friend". One night he crashed into a truck broke down in the fast lane on the 210 freeway (Pasadena Area), he was decapitated. Just giving my warning is all, my friend thought he was a super good driver and thought he was smarter than all the other dumb drivers.
see that wouldnt happen to me because right before I would crash I would jump out the moment before impact and survive you gotta think smarter not harder
rest in peace to your friend bro but driving on the la freeways is a different game i'm from la and i think that cutting up here is not smart no matter how good you are at driving.. - 5-6 lanes with traffic going 75-80 in medium/heavy traffic (nyc is only 3 lane and they drive at 55-60mph) - more exits means more merging so a lot of unpredictability with the drivers - more drivers really just means higher chance of accidents - and on top of that chp does not play around you will get chased with helicopters on you
istg these videos always make the random people driving look like NPCs also imagine the ppl on the other side of the hwy at the beginning of the video just seeing mans flying at like 140
That’s body roll not under steer. As long as you don’t flip over, body roll increases grip in turns. If you have stiff suspension it’s easier to zigzag but you have less grip during hard cornering. If he had attempted that maneuver with very stiff suspension including stiffer swaybars there’s a good chance he would’ve oversteered which is not something you can correct at those speeds in the middle of traffic.
Idk where people draw the line. Like imo the "best cut" is squeezing through so close WITHOUT contact. But technically you still got through even if you hit bumpers.
and people who think cutting up close, or cutting up at all, maybe, should., GET OFF THE ROAD!!! If you hit bumpers? Yeah, that's called a car crash, and if I got your plate, I'd be calling the police, and getting your insurance to pay for scratches on my car and running from the scene of an accident. clown
Damn dude switch your insurance or something are you really young and have accidents and tickets on your record already or something? I am 26 with no accidents or tickets on my record anymore and have 3 BMWs with full coverage including collision and comprehensive and only pay $150 a month. If you can afford to pay in full you normally can save a good amount too.
@@fredfrederickson Hmm, yea I'm 18 man, no accidents or tickets though. I was quoted at $356 a month originally, but went through my parents insurance and got it down to $196. Would have been much cheaper if the title wasn't in my name however, G's are crazy expensive to insure unfortunately
@@caedmon6980 it’s expensive now but it’s good to have your own insurance so you have your own history of claims and stuff when you want to get your own. My brother is 21 and is looking for the first time since he has always used our parents/grandparents insurance and the quotes are just as expensive as you’re paying but he also has accidents. If you ever get any type of ticket fight it no matter what it is and no matter if you are guilty or not get a lawyer for anything that could result in points. It is not worth it to pay the ticket because your insurance increases will fuck you. Even if it’s not a moving violation and carries no points still fight it because insurance can still choose to raise rates. Do not file claims for an accident that was not through your fault through your own insurance file it through the person at fault’s insurance company. I’ve been in about 5 accidents and none of them were my fault but my insurance was about to take a big jump in price when nothing changed as far as me having a clean record with no accidents and I asked what was the cause for the sharp hike in rates and they said even though the accidents aren’t my fault they believe that I “could be putting myself in bad situations” implying that I wanted to get hit or something which really pissed me off. So don’t even use your own insurance unless you absolutely have to or they can increase your rates even for accidents that aren’t your fault because they hate making payments that much. If you file through the at fault’s insurance it won’t affect your rates in anyway just theirs. If you can’t tell I hate dealing with insurance companies lol.
