I think the best compliment I can give Connor is that when the trailer first came out, I had to find out it WASN'T DC douglas voicing Wesker, had I not known this I could easily chalk up the inconsistency in performance as just being rust from not voicing the character in so long.

It's absolutely Wesker's character. I much prefer Douglas' cold, heartless, calculated approach to the voice of Wesker while still sounding arrogant in areas.. In RE5, even when Wesker raises or even yells (other than him screaming "Chris" at the end of the game), he still somehow manages to come off like he doesn't really care. Connor has the arrogance, but lacks the coldness. Douglas had the right amount of both. Edit: Typo.

@@freshandzesty1111 multiple people have come forth claiming he's a bit of a groomer personality, using his fame to get favors from female fans and shit and although none of these claims have been proved, he does choose to stay silent about it and has turned off comments on his own videos for his youtube channel because of it. Apparently the man's a bit of a pervert too, getting a bit too touchy with female fans at cons and such? Again, these are only accusations but the amount of them and the severity of them were enough to land him in pretty hot water.
