If you buy a boss ds-2, and when you try it it sounds like this, you wouldn't say you're lucky cuz your boss sounds new and different , you'd toss it in the garbage since it kinda sounds like a drunk fuzzface played with a 40 years old cheap cable in a line 6 spider 4, it just looks cool as fuck xD

A lot of people were understandably skeptical about this being a gimmick but I really think it has a 'thing' that is unique and quite different from a transistor / diode driven glitchy fuzz. You guys did a great job of stepping outside of what you usually do to demo it. Great video.

That crunchy gated riff at 15:12 is unlike anything I ever heard and it is NASTY ! As always, you are very good at demonstrating the creative potential of very strange pedals, that everyone else dismisses as useless. Since I discovered this pedal, I was hoping for a video showing its true potential, and here it is finally ! I absolutely love it, it is exactly like I imagined, noisy but organic, cinematic, dynamic and responsive, brutal, versatile as well. It's like all the good things in a fuzz but without the unpleasant bits.

its about the journey, man. in all seriousness the pedals seems to keep some semblance of articulation and dynamic range, which is very abnormal for a fuzz pedal, and as far as I’m aware its due to the the distortion process, which is expensive to manufacture, a la the cost. there’s never going to be a specialist pedal for everyone, especially not at a non specialist price.

Mr Captain, the music you created in that intro was awesome. One of my favorites of any of the jam moments of any of the players of any of the videos. Tasteful isn’t the right word, ideal is closer. I think it would be cool to see each of the guys come up with a logo or something and have it stamped or burned behind the headstock or something or the guitars and gear you demo. You could play around with throwing them in your stock at random in specific lots so one customer gets it or something. It’s a great way to get viewers even closer to the action.

I really want the Pedal Sustain thing, but the near 400 dollar price is still holding me back. That plasma thing sounds like a bit type fuzz that kind of farts out a lot. Not impressed and it's also super expensive. Tons of cheap pedals can do that. Just my two cents.

I want this, I want THIS!! This is the most amazing guitar sound ever. I've been noodling around with lots of strange distortion plug ins but this is wicked! Nice synth sounds.........I get similar stuff from Ableton Wavetable. Chappers was channeling Blade Runner 2049, and I say that as a good thing, so looks like Ridley Scott already has one. The Swell setting on my Avalanche Run gives me those big ambient sounds too. You need to do a comparison with the Data Corrupter.

The company is called Gamechanger Audio for a reason. This is not your average les paul wielding, wanna-be-Slash-forever-chasing-his-tone-idiotically type of players pedal. If you like anything traditional you probably will not see what this pedal offers, and that's fine. All it means is that this pedal is not meant for you.

This video explores the pedal with ambient tones. but the actual companies plasma promo video does crunch rock and metal tones. I would buy this pedal based on the companies promo video. Your video does not make me want to purchase the pedal, however it does show it's limitations and and diversity, Please do a small segment using pedal for rock and metal to match what the promo vid shows :) But as always, I always appreciate your vids as one of my "go to" places for new products..... FYI ...I just ordered the plasma pedal :)

The sound reminds me so much to a vintage fuzz. Moreover, when you low the current that goes to the tube with the voltage control (the modern NOS transistor fuzzes have a bias control that allows that) it behaves as a NOS fuzz transistor sounding like broken sandy without sustain which is named velvet in fuzz argot. There are many videos about this pedal but you guys are the few that found an amazing application to it. Yet it requires delay, a reverse ambient reverb, and maybe a cranked tube amp to sound like that, it allows me to “justify why I have to buy that new pedal”. Thank you,

It's every completely unuseable sound you can think of between the foghorn on the Titanic and an elephant farting into a milkbottle. It's like when you stray down to the wrong end of the factory pre-sets on a very cheap multi-effects pedal. It's all the tones on every distortion pedal that made you wince and try to get a better one. It's the sound my Kay amplifiier made before it died when I was twelve. It's like that thing you got for Christmas that you thought was great for ten minutes and then discovered was a bit useless. It's 269 quid people! I want one.

It’s the same spec as Danish Pete’s Telecaster... (apart from the colour) That guitar is sold, but have a look on our website for more of the same.

you could shoot a whole music video [ if you had the right kind of music ] with just a close up of the pedals tube like a beam across the screen with a black back drop and because it goes along with the guitar it would look like you synced it up with the track. just play through the whole guitar part while filming the pedal doing its thing and BOOM! it will then look like you had synced it up to the track.
