I'm so sorry for your loss. May God rest his soul 💜 and I hope the fond memories, you and your wife have of him, will be of great comfort to you now, and always 🙏
Thanks for the kind words. Ever since my Wife lost her Mother he'd been heartbroken and lost. We're happy that he is finally home with the love of his life, and home with the Lord.
Just discovered your music. Downloaded both of your albums on Apple Music. You have a wonderful voice and great skill playing your instrument as well. I like how in different versions of the same song you add a little variation. I think that's why it sounds so good, each iteration is you just playing the song, and going with a natural flow, not trying to make it sound like a prior version you did or like anyone else's version of the song. It's hard to explain, but it's like when you have an original conversation with someone, and it was unexpected but leaves you with a warm glow, but then try to relate the same conversation to someone else, it never feels as natural as that first conversation. Like you can't force it. Your music doesn't feel forced, or trying to recreate something you did before, it's just natural and fresh sounding. I hope that makes sense
So good to visit your YT Page and get a lift up spiritually, your music does that. I first discovered your talent with the post of the airport delay and you playing with your mates singing The Galway Girl. Thank you. Never stop....
Bew-ri-ful !! Went looking for the Ronnie D version to remind meself of the words - this one is the business too. Always felt Kavanagh's ghost most present in the Waterloo Bar on Baggot St. - at least until they vandalised it inside during the Septic Tiger time
