Hori7on is a South Korea-based Filipino boy band formed in 2023. The group is composed of members Vinci Malizon, Kim Ng, Kyler Chua, Reyster Yton, Winston Pineda, Jeromy Batac, and Marcus Cabais. Characterized as a world pop group, they are the first Filipino boy band to debut in South Korea, and have been active in both South Korea and Philippines since their formation.
If I’m not mistaken they only had about 3 months of proper “korean” training prior their debut. They won from idol competition in the Philippines called “Dream Maker” last February where one of the most prominent judges is Bae Yoon Jung (dance mentor of Produce). They're also receiving lesser backlash from knetz compared to other GPOP after their music show performance bec. their debut song is in Korean and English. It also helps that prior to their debut, they have a docu-series and variety shows showing how they're learning Korean language and culture.

They are all filipino who won from a survival show in the Philippines with the collaboration of MLD Entertainment and ABS-CBN called "Dream Maker." They debuted first here in the Philippines and debuted recently in South Korea. Fun fact about them is that they don't come from any training and proper singing, dancing, and rapping workshop when they join the competition.

You're right, a lot of people are saying that Kyler has a resemblance to Cha Eun Woo and sometimes to Heeseung of Enhypen. Kyler even comes out in Korean articles for his resemblance to these two famous Korean idols. The power of visual he hold is insane hehe.

The group consists of Vinci (March 11, 2000), Kim (February 17, 2002), Kyler( July 6, 2002), Reyster (February 8, 2003), Winston (February 2, 2005), Jeromy( February 2, 2009), and Marcus (August 31, 2009). They were trained in South Korea and debuted as a global pop group. They released their pre-debut single ‘DASH‘ on March 22, 2023. HORI7ON made their debut on July 24, 2023, with the album Friendship Ship.

Kyler Chua looks Korean but his late father was either partly or fully Chinese Filipino, his mother fully Filipino. He is the visual of the group. Everyone says KY could be a model. I think so too. 🤗
The moment someone mentioned that they feel like this boy are trying new things portrayed in the MV is on point. I was sixteen when I started to try and explore new things to discovering myself. The title and story in every scene matches together which many people don’t realize yet. From diff colors of suits and matching outfits gives a lot of meaning.
