Paul Vienneau I think what Sheenu was saying was that P. didn't talk over the "guest" or make herself the focus. Jimmy Fallon spends more time laughing at his own jokes than letting the guests talk. The disgraced Charlie Rose was the worst. He would interview amazing people and then spend 5 minutes asking a question and answering most of it himself before letting them speak. 80% Rose, 20% guest. This was much more real feeling, more true true conversation.

I’ve just known her recently because i’ve started learning english so listening english everyday is my habit to strengthen my english ability. Priyanka is one of those who have been fighting for women empowerment as long as I remember. I know this woman from 19 years and never a dull moment when she's on screen. I literally stare at my TV or laptop whenever she's speaking like super glue myself.. She's representing Indians in a beautiful way. I love her so much gosh
She doesn't seem eloquent at all to me. On the other hand, she seems low on insight and seems afraid to own her identity (her accent is a classic example - it swings from Indian to American to British, and reveals her clear confusion and lack of true confidence, despite what she might try to portray). The difference is particularly stark when she sits next to DVF - the very opposite of Priyanka , DVF is unapologetically herself and does not feel the need to pander, change, mask one iota of her being. This series was very Priyanka - a couple of t-shirt quotes, and no deeper insights AT ALL. She does ten minutes of small talk, and a minute of the "one thing you want to tell me". Erm, shouldn't it have been the other way around? Even the way this is finally applied to Priyanka's own life was so lackluster and superficial. As we were drawing closer, I actually thought to myself - let this not end in her supposedly using all this insight to half-conquer a silly, momentary fear like skydiving, versus something that truly makes her vulnerable. Karaoke was even worse. Meh..
I'll be completely honest. I don't hav a fav actress/actor. But once i was watching The Anupam kher show and u were there, i watched till the end. Your words really struck in my brain..'You can hate me, you can love me but u cannot deny me', ❤️that. I really love how hardworking u are. ❤️😘

And I cannot express to you enough in words just how alone I felt. I had nobody to talk to. It took me years to rid myself of the guilt that I felt because of it. “I sleep all the time because it’s the closest thing to death.” When she said this I was shocked because it is the exact same thing I do. I make excuses of being “tired” when I have done nothing tiresome. I could literally have the best day ever and want to come home and sleep because reality hurts too much. The fact that she was able to get help for it gives me hope 🙏

She is a Padmashree awardee in India which is the third highest civilian honour. And now she is a film producer, tourism brand ambassador and a angel investor for startups mostly funded by women. Way to go Priyanka!!! Such a huge fan of yours!!!!!

I would really struggle with something like karaoke because I'd focus on not sounding perfect but this scene was good perspective into not taking life so seriously and just having a laugh with it. Didn't she use a treatment for lighting her skin tone? Colorism is strong in India, she probably wouldn't be this famous and rich without it. In addition, she is skinny and has other aspects, she is someone who fits the beauty standard.
@@enibeni2071 None of us are sure if she has got any treatment for sure and it's unfair to judge without knowing the facts and if at all she's got one also what's the big deal, it's not necessary that whoever gets all these treatments becomes famous or rich. It's one's hardwork, personality and conviction that takes them to top places. And by the way she's not skinny and talking about colorism, it exists everywhere and it's not specific to India alone, we are this country where people of every color co-exist together and things are slowly changing in the minds of people as the awareness about inclusion is rising.
