But what happens when the hero and the villian are the same person, the villian hidden away centuries ago, behind another face, another name. so for centuries they can't find this immortal villian because they hide as a hero, a totally different person, all the while pushing anyone away who can save them, from their self hatred. A rather interesting concept for a character I think
This is a beautiful idea, I love it. The concept of the hero being a villain is such a wonderful idea, I’ve always loved it and the way you described it made love it a gazillion times more
They say when you're held at gunpoint start talking about your life It's funny though because we were always taught us not to talk to strangers yet the best way to survive the worst stranger of all is to tell them everything about yourself Your full name How old you are Where you grew up I suppose this is because it humanizes you it gives the person holding the gun something to empathize with because a few seconds before you were just prey just a target on a wall ready to hit But now you're a full human being A sister A son A teacher A parent A whole history that will make it that much harder to erase from the world That's why it's so much easier to connect to the hero in every movie because their story always starts from the beginning We meet them as a young child We learn about their interests What music they listen to Their go to snack They probably go through a lot to Maybe they were abandoned no family no home Then they arise from the ashes and use their trauma for good of course we'd root for them Where as for the villain we only meet them when they've already become the villain there *is no backstory* No reason why they are the way they are Bitter Vile Always plotting an evil plan But no one ever stops and thinks that maybe these villains had a story too Maybe they have a favorite color A favorite food Maybe they too were a child once with needed that *were never quite met* Maybe there's a reason why they turned out to be the villain You were the villain in my life ya know? You never cared about anything you were always angry you always found a way to dampen every occasion just by being there And I hated you for it It makes me think maybe like all the heroes we know and love *if I had met you from the beginning* If I had known what kind of music moved you What kind of food excited your taste buds Or if you had just told me your favorite color *I would have empathized more* Maybe it would have made me realize that I was the one holding the gun
I saw the tt of the girl voicing this😭 and literally she’s so right! She has many tt that make us realize stuff we didn’t before. BUT BESIDES THAT I LOVE THIS KITERALLY SMMMMMM AHH
Thats why i never treat someone bad if theyre being mean to me. I was always nice to the bully because i thought there could be a reason behind her behaviors. And guess what? Her parents died when she was 5. Now we are friends.
THIS GAVE ME CHILLS LIKE ACTUALLY OML ALSOALSO this is like super true. in ninjago, we get a lil backstory of garmadon (one of the many villains, i guess u could say hes the main villain tho) which makes it way easier to like him. he hasnt always been a villain, theres a lot of lore to it, not gonna talk about it now ofc BUT i just wanted to say that hes actually one of my fav characters and im not sure if id like him so much if i didnt know his backstory, if i knew NOTHING about him
Wow! Loved it!!! ( Even though I don't know any of the characters ) It motivated me to continue working on my story that starts with... someone; considered to be a hero by some, and a villain by others. ( Not telling who she is ).
This audio is so good and is true we never really care for villain i sometimes give my villains in stories a very traumatic backstory for motivation 😅❤❤
This is really good! But this audio makes me think about mega mind. I know it kinda sounds silly but it’s true. We met mega mind at the start of the story. He was a villain and we saw why. He was seen as an outcast. So he thought that the only thing he was good at was being bad. But of course he becomes the hero in the end, but still it makes me think of him. So maybe if there was more stories or movies or shows that show the villain’s whole story. Maybe we would all connect more. We would see that everyone has a reason why they are. A bully could have a bad past or a teacher’s pet could just be worried that they’ll do something wrong. That’s what I think, but who knows maybe this world would get more villains, or there would be better connection between everyone. It’s a thought, y’know.
*not me wanting to make a video like this now* would take me like 2 weeks at most if i did.... If i try it would be the only video i post for w bit tbh
