Yeah, Nah, there's gotta be a better, more customer focused movie entity than Netflix. People watch T.V and movies to have their emotions moved... Some life stories don't translate well in order to do that.. The movie formula Sensationalizes and emphasizes Gun fights and romance scenes and builds characters that everyone can relate too. It never works..

the guy who was official boss before Chin was Philip "Benny Squint" Lombardo. he took over the family after Vito Genovese went to jail as acting boss and then became the official boss when Vito passed away, and he first made Ryan Eboli street boss, then Funzi Tieri. and when Funzi died, he stepped down and gave the reigns to Chin, who in turn made Fat Tony street boss
@nelstar4676
@nelstar4676 3 года назад
@SILVERBACK SAVAGE well, Fat Tony was sort of an acting boss, because he never really was the official boss. street boss and acting boss are very similar titles but just used for different reasons. so Chin was the official boss whereas Fat Tony was the street boss. (acting is usually when the official boss is in prison and someone needs to fill the position sometimes temporarily). but you could technically call Fat Tony an acting boss aswell.

If you ever watch Joe Pistone interviews you can tell how much respect he had for Sonny Black, who had proposed "Donny" to get him made. He was also Lefties best man and seems to confirm that he was pure LCN. Did his time and kept his mouth shut. JP had some huge balls staying undercover for 6 years and getting himself that much respect. Then again, this was the Bonanno Family...

As always another great story. Every Copper is not bad or doing bad shit or stealing. I’m retired Chicago Copper. Some guys on my Team used to always go in to buy things at a Pawn Shop. I’d never go in. The place was run by guys from a Outfit Crew (I won’t name which Crew) One night I’m sitting in our unmarked car along side the building. A car pulls in and parks. I recognize the guy as one of the people working the Pawn Shop. He comes over to me and starts talking to me like a gentleman. Now were just 2 guys talking. I spoke with this man a number of times. Our conversations were always polite, relaxed, calm.

Fonzi Tieri is the guy responsible for setting up Tony “Tony Bananas” Capinigro who killed Angelo Bruno. It was a move the Genovese set in motion so they could put a boss in Philly who was aligned with Chin, making Gigante the boss of bosses. Most powerful mobster in America.
@tommyphil4713
@tommyphil4713 3 года назад
Nicodemo Scarfo was in very close with Bobby Manna (Genovese consigliere), they did two years in Yardville together. When Tony Bananas made his move on Angelo and and Chiki made his move on Phil Testa, the Genovese moved Little Nicky in as boss so that the Chin could control Atlantic City. Casinos were just opening back up and there was a lot of money to be made in unions at that time.
