“If you lose an item without using it the video ends” For example, you get shocked or hit with a bullet while holding an item and it drops on the ground -Mario Kart Wii
@@metis7534 Same, but I added a twist to my comment. I'll repeat it here for clarity. "If you get disconnected, or you go x races without getting disconnected, the video ends." x = a number more than 6, your choice. -Mario Kart Wii
Delfino Square is your caring and blessed auntie that always looks forward to your wellbeing and supports you in everything... DK Mountain is the drunk one
"if you don't get hit for more than a minute, the video ends" (falling in lava, water, void etc... doesn't count as getting hit) -mario kart wii day 2 asking
14:54 this was probably noticed in editing, and can be seen again in x0.25 playback speed, but the FIB actually WAS thrown straight forward, insofar as Luigi threw it straight in the direction he/his bike was facing when the button was pressed. This means the camera was at a skewed angle from the typical “right behind you”, so to the camera and those watching, the forward throw was angled. If throwing forward was tied to the camera, then Luigi would have to throw the item at an odd angle, and the animation would have to reflect such a throw. This means the devs had to have been thinking about this at some point after initially deciding that the item’s trajectory should be tied to the character’s/animation’s orientation, and the fact that this remained in the game can say one or more of several things about the devs. One could say that this is just another thing which Nintendo was lazy about, but you can’t say that without considering other factors and discussing how much those factors matter, so we’ll cover that last. The first such factor is that the devs wanted to make the game a bit more realistic somehow, and though that’s all well and good, realism clearly isn’t a priority, since people are getting grabbed out of lava with fishing rods by turtles riding sentient clouds. The second factor; the devs wanted to implement tricks, and it hadn’t crossed their minds that people would try throwing items mid-trick. This one is a little sketchy, but there’s some plausibility to this based on the various ways items are used. Trap items are definitely designed to be dropped right behind you, but can also be thrown forward if desired. However, the Bob-omb works the exact _opposite_ way, and since dropping a Bob-omb behind you places it the same way as placing a banana, it makes sense for _throwing_ Bob-ombs and traps to also share a trajectory. Given that traps and Bob-ombs share a trajectory for the sake of convenience, the only thing left to debate is whether throwing these items should be tied to character orientation. Several arguments arise for the case of it not being orientation-tied; firstly, since we have already agreed that realism is not a likely factor, the devs should have simply ignored the idea of throwing items being tied to your orientation, and instead straight from the camera’s POV. The second case is that the game has a Versus ranking system, and the devs should have considered that players might want to get the speed boost from tricks without their items being hurled off the edge of the road. However, if I were a dev, I would want my players to hold onto the Bob-omb until they could line up a shot, which assumes they would concentrate on their positioning behind someone rather than trying to do a trick snipe, especially because missing a Bob-omb throw means you can potentially run into it and be hit HARD by your own item. Therefore, since Mario Kart would be attractive to a younger target audience, one which isn’t known for voluminous skill but for having some good clean Mario fun, it would make sense for the devs to consider their younger audience’s skill level when designing the Bob-omb throw, whose trajectory was shared with trap items. It would make sense for the devs to not make scruples over trucks affecting throw trajectories. Referring to the ignored realism argument, the game would be less attractive on the market if the game didn’t have some fair scaling sizes: trees and buildings should be taller than little karts, lighter characters should be affected more when bumped by a heavier character, and performing realistic tricks all make the game more attractive and reasonable to players of several different mindsets. Referring to the boost-enabling argument, those playing with Manual steering will want to take advantage of mini-turbos while drifting, so if your character is in a kart and drifting, the Kart is at an angle from the camera, and the character’s head is at an angle between or matching with the kart and the camera. If you throw an item forward, then you would want the item to take its trajectory from the character model’s orientation over the camera’s orientation, because drifting means you are taking a curve, and if you throw your item from the camera’s angle you are more likely to throw the item off the map than into the curved road. Additionally, the ability to look behind you affects the camera, bit your character’s orientation. If items were used from the camera’s orientation, then trying to drop a banana while looking behind you would place the banana on the camera’s side of the kart, and yoh would simply hit yourself with it instead of lining up a calculated drop. Therefore, it is actually necessary for items to be thrown and dropped based on your character’s orientation rather than the camera’s orientation, otherwise items and features would simply not work as intended.
Day 5 of asking: Challenge where you have to use your skills to finish 12th in the first race 11th in the second race, 10th in the third race and so on. The challenge ends when you win the 12th and final race or fail to finish in the ‘correct place’. -Mario Kart Wii
CoolJeremy Animations ik but I chose to say Crazy 8 and it worked the same as saying coin would. Also Crazy 8 says “8” in it (in reference to MK*8*), so I thought it fit even better
CoolJeremy Animations oh actually coins wouldn’t work as well because there are coins in MKW battle mode, so it would seem implied as he should play battle mode
“If you play on a remade map you play on the original game it’s from” -Mario kart Wii (day-17) He can use an emulator and play on the most difficult setting (150cc) and make it so that he has to come in first
"If your place goes down, you cut out every frame you're in higher place. (so if you're in 5th place, you cut out every frame you're in 1st~4th place.) And if you're in 12th place, the video end." -Mario Kart Wii
On DS Peach Gardens, he thought his last item was a mushroom, but it was actually just one mushroom left from the triple mushrooms that he pulled at the beginning of the race lol
Thanks for continuing to make videos regularily, I literally jumped out of my seat when I saw that you uploaded, and its amazing that you uploaded on my lunch break :D
Imagine if CP was like : "That was my worst college day ever ! Thankfully everything is over, now let's have some fun time with some MKWii sessions..."
Day 2 “If you get a mushroom from the item boxes, the video ends.” - Mario Kart Wii (Golden mushrooms, triple mushrooms, and mega mushrooms count as well)
Creepy Produce: If I get the same item three times in a row, the video ends Also Creepy Produce: *gets triple greens, then another green, then triple reds* (4:14)
Mario Kart Wii but you have health and depending on what item you get hit by your health reduces -YOU- - you start with 5 hearts -ITEMS- - Green Shell - - 1 heart - Red Shell - - 0.5 hearts - Blue Shell - - 5 hearts - Banana Peel - - 1.5 hearts - Fake Item Box - - 2 hearts - Coin - + 0.5 hearts - Bullet Bill - - 3 hearts - Lightning - - 0.5 max hearts - blooper - - 0.5 hearts - Bob-omb - - 3 hearts - Mushroom - + 1 heart - Golden Mushroom - + 5 hearts - Mega Mushroom - + 2 hearts - POW Block - - 1.5 hearts - Star - - 3 health (get hit) + 2 health (if you get item) - Thunder Cloud - - 2.5 health - -OTHER- - Fall off the Level - - 1 heart - Hazards (Shy Guy Beach cannon balls for example) - 2 hearts
That red shell was on a mission. Also, getting disconnected in MKW was a major part of my childhood. Basically me and my brother made that in itself a game.
“If you see Birdo on your screen, the language of the video changes.” - Use Google Translate and also use the google voice to translate your commentary to another language - Mario Kart Wii
CreepyProduce: Does the Rainbow Road gap jump, gets destroyed by a bullet bill and gets like 10 disconnections.. Also CreepyProduce: *Why am I here.. just to suffer?*
7:11 Answered the question he made in 7:04 7:44 WIMMFI: "I'm gonna crush the hopes of this man..." 11:30 You weren't disconnected, it's just the Blooper's ink was too strong... 17:58 Chill, dude! 20:58 The funny thing here is Luigi apparently doing the italian salute, like saying "Go F*** Yourself!" 22:24 In that moment, a bit of CreepyProduce's soul died with the false hope of "We're OK now"
"2nd time asking: "if you get hit in all possible ways the video ends." Specifications: by all types, I mean all single items that can slow you down (so no blooper and mushrooms) and at least one stage obstacle ( cars that squish you, the goombas, the penguins, wigglers, etc.). Triple items don't count. Bumping into stuff or players is ok, and so is falling into water/lava or falling off by yourself. However, getting pushed by other players into lava/water/out of bounds is required for the condition.
No one: Not a single soul: No one in the entire universe: Legit negative infinity people: Every single person that has superpowers: People with perfect wifi: GTA loading in less than a second: Warzone updates being less than a megabyte: Creepyproduce: 9 mushroom time!
„If you touch something rainbow colored, the video ends“ -Mario Kart Wii Clarification: With rainbow colored I mean things like for example speed boosts, item boxes, rainbow road, etc...
What he says: * speaking about how perfect are the races in Delfino Square * What he actually says: HEY GAME PLEASE DISCONNECT ME, THAT WOULD BE FUNNY.
