If I had known anyone would see these videos... (a short film/vlog) 

Hi everyone! I upgraded my gear to Sony (finally) and i'd been filming little things with it when I first got it. II ended up wanting to do something with the clips and this is the result. This little film/vlog is just dissecting the concept of making your younger self proud and what that means. I love asking myself questions like this because it really helps forge an intentional path in art + life. I did a poll on IG a few weeks ago about how people are effected by being raised in more conservative ways and honestly it was really beautiful the amount of people that responded and had similar situations. A lot of people are unfamiliar, but I was raised in very conservative and (beyond) religious environment where some of my old friends now consider themselves cult survivors. I actually wasn't allowed to listen to Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Bring Me The Horizon and so I had to sneak listening to these bands. Haha! I had a wonderful upbringing but I often reflect on how hard it was for some of my peers to leave and create lives for themselves due to the bubble of such a small town, isolation, judgement, etc. And I am so glad that I was able to start asking myself what I wanted out of life at a young age, and curate something beautiful for myself now as an adult. I hope this sparks something or anything or maybe just makes you think! Life is a wonderful thing! Love you. xoxoxo
