Plus durians (and any tropical fruits) that imported to oversea actually don't ripe properly. (they got harvested before they ripe) and let them riped during the shipment. Which the shipment takes MONTHS to complete. Which is why ANY tropical fruits you buy will taste off and a bit stale, especially frozen. Durian sure has a strong smell, but their taste supposed to more Creamy? That's all I can describe the taste.
I actually have a fake plastic durian shell i ordered online for my cat because apparently cats love the texture. My little guy always wants me to use it like a brush for pets lol
