I adore the L'Oreal True Match Foundation, I'm 58 so look for products that are also very friendly for older skin. Hands down this is the BEST I've tried, I've been told it's the best drugstore for older skin as it doesn't contain any alcohol ( I guess many do ) which can be quite drying and make the product sit in lines more....

Oh Julia Adams!!!! I MUST share that was able to find the Shiseido foundation, test shades, and buy it today. Not only was it 20% off, the person who helped me......after I did all the testing myself......and walked around the dept store to try find someone to help me.....he gave me an extra 15% off for having to wait.....so long to be helped! Well, that's just the beginning, as I can say that you could not have been more correct about how AMAZING this foundation is! I've been a product junkie my whole life, and have tried zillions of foundations. I don't know what or how this is made, but the texture, the feel, the look, the everything about is is like no other! Revitalessence Skin Glow by Shiseido is WOW OH WOW! THE 220 Linen is my skin, in liquid form. I highly recommend this for anyone to try who wants skin of silk. ❤❤❤❤

Really enjoyed this Julia. Such a variety of products, many I have not used so will go on my list. As much as I enjoyed your choices, I also really admire your descriptions. You have an amazing vocabulary and pick the perfect words to describe a product which makes it so easy to decide whether it's something for me. And about your bloodwork: I have a special place I love in England and whenever I go for bloodwork or go to the dentist, I put myself there and mentally walk through the streets and smell the sea and feel the cobblestones under my feet. It has worked for me for 50 years! Take care.

I know I'm a little late to this video but wow I felt so seen when you shared your fear of bloodwork. I have an EXTREME phobia of needles, and that specifically is also a nightmare for me. I go into a panic attack every time, and either almost pass out, or pass out. Its something thats so hard for me, and alot of people don't understand or have much empathy for. I have actually had a nurse in an ER be downright mean to me when I gave her a head up that I may faint while getting it done. It is such a traumatic experience!

For blush lovers, you need to try the Kulfi blushes. Trust me. They look scary but translate to very natural blush effects: frost bitten cheeks, blushed from a heavy workout, sun-burnt etc etc. Thank me later 😊

I had the awkward experience where I sort of had to do this, but it was only my makeup I was travelling with (& my whole suitcase) so there were some things I didn't grab despite them being favourites because I knew I had them at home.

Girly you may benefit from a medical doula. Essentially you could look up full spectrum doulas and ask if they’d come with to your blood draw. I was a birth doula for 10 years and then did a number of medical doula situations and it is just as important for ones peace of mind as having support during birth. Also make sure to be well hydrated and if you can get to the location and get your blood pumping a little by doing some jumping jacks in the bathroom or simply raising your arms over your head and back a few times, makes getting an easy blood draw even easier
