The game is pretty good about mimicking reality in terms of what goes on when doing crazy things like this... So based on the conditions, my guess is one of three things happens, since it's what would happen in real life: 1) If car is NOT computer controlled (as in, Engine Management), the transmission will go into gear and promptly grenade is automatic, likely grenade if manual, or possibly stall if manual. 2) If the car IS computer controlled and you're going over 15MPH/20KPH, it will refuse to go into gear, regardless of automatic or manual transmission. 3) If going _below_ 15MPH/20KPH, if an automatic it MIGHT go into gear and survive (but likely endure minor clutch disc damage); if a manual it probably will go in and survive with some clutch slippage/burning. I have intentionally thrown a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire automatic into R whilst going 40MPH, and nothing happened. It remains in Drive despite the shifter being in Reverse position. _(or did it go into Neutral... It was a long time ago lol)_ Similarly, if you leave them in First or Second and hit the rev limiter, they'll automatically shift into the next gear, and then won't shift back down until reaching a certain speed. Granted, different manufacturers will have different configurations and some may allow it even thought they're computer controlled... but *most* have failsafes to prevent damaging the drivetrain. 😊 [/ramble] _edit: minor typos corrected; is->if and your->you're_
@@steph_7775 Engines have been able to fall out of the vehicle for years. So technically they could just have the transmission fall out! However, I'd rather it have some small parts fall out along with a shower of sparks (for dramatic effect), leaving behind an oil spot (red if automatic; dark tan if manual) 😊
5:48 When you look over and see the person next to you on the highway trying to dig out the frenchfry that fell between the seat and center console... 😒 🤣
"Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that we stopped the thieves from getting away with your car. The bad news is that your car suffered a little minor damage..."
Suggestions for other "Touch the Car" scenarios: - target locks them for an orbital missile strike _(kinetic only,_ _no explosive payload; aka Rods From God)_ - creates a small singularity in their cab, causing it to *implode* - rotates their car 180° - deploys a parachute that's attached to their engine block _(I'll understand if it isn't possible to make the car implode; I apologize if others have suggested any of these, I promise I'm not trying to claim anyone's ideas ♥️)_
@@stargazer2312 He kinda did that already in a previous video, by making them slingshot forward at great speed. Technically, not much would happen by increasing power, besides burning out the clutch, or destroying the transmission, or the rear end. If none of those occurred, it would just spin the tires 😅 He would have to beef up component strengths, which are no big deal. However, to prevent traction loss he would have to increase the stickiness of the tires... Which would give them a highly unfair advantage as they wouldn't lose control while driving around beforehand. As such, he would never be able to catch them... 🥴
I will never get over how simple your videos are in how they look. This is what keeps me coming back. It's never some over complicated video. Just "We're wrecking cars this way/seeing what they can do/what if" with a touch of story and cheeky humour
If I touch you your car’s gravity reverses (suddenly gains the power of uncontrollably flying into the sun) or if I touch you your car turns left or right (your choice) this is good for cliff maps or ocean view maps where you can suddenly get a more closer then you wanted to look at the ocean
Steel coils that size usually weigh in at about 40,000 pounds for that particular size. I used to work in a mill where we did the entire process from the melt shop to final aneal and cutting. Pretty neat place, 1000 ways to die in spectacular fashion.
When I saw the title, I knew it would be devastating, but damn it's much more than I expected lol Also the 11000 lbs roll is quite in the light side of them they can go up to 36000 lbs. Over than that, you overload the truck and trailer, DOT and OSHA are gonna have a field day with that lol
It said at the end “forgot the passport” and that made me laugh because i instantly thought imagine if this is what happened at the airport if you did actually forget your passport
I'm going to watch this again with the sound muted and Christopher Cross' "Run Like the Wind" playing. Also, that can't be Texas. I'm pretty sure Abbot made a law making thinking of traffic circles a felony.
