This video was a wake up call for me haha. I used to get 8 hours of sleep every night, but I eventually started drifting into just getting 5-6 instead because it’s easier. I’m able to function fine and my grades weren’t affected to I definitely have fallen into the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” mindset. Thanks for this! I’ll try to fix my sleep schedule, wish me luck
You got this! Sleep is one of the hardest things to fix, especially because we don’t really make it a priority. It’s something that I know I need to work on still, like BAD hahaha. We got this. The moment I started to sleep better back then, I felt so much more alive about everything. Some tips I’ve learned along the way, in case you wanted some: - lavender smell helps with sleep - no blue light 1-2h before, meaning you can use blue light glasses to filter. yes you can still use your phone before sleeping if you really needed to! - check out this 2 min method to sleep called “progressive relaxation” essentially tensing the muscle then relaxing it from head to toe Those are just some for now, if you’d like I can make a whole episode on bettering sleep! I’ve studied it a lot! 🤭💤
@@SonyxApexGuides Well thanks for the advice! I’ll try my best to improve. I think a large part of my issue is just being too lazy to go to bed, if that makes sense. Like I’ll just sit on my phone and not go to bed ever when I know I would. It feels awful to do that, but I still do it anyways. If I’m more disciplined about getting off my phone it’d probably make a huge difference
I definitely agree with your words. There is just something about the balance between "hustling and pushing forward all the time" and "taking things slowly and taking care of your mental health" that is so hard to grasp. It's so relieving seeing someone also going through same kind of worries, because when you're in that moment, it can be really frightening and you question whether it's just something that is inherently wrong with you. Also, the clips were so cool it honestly were giving me trouble concentrating on the video. Great work as always!
I like the way you put that, especially when you say finding a balance between "the grind" and "relax, slow down." it's not easy at all to find this balance. For some, it may even take their entire life to find this. but as long as we're trying, that's all that matters right? and yes of course, just know you're not alone in all of this. we're all going through this sea of life in the same boat. some of us need a lil more help when we accidentally fall off. thanks for being so honest and frank, this was nice. let's have more of these :) thank you for your kind words on the video too! :D
Thats really nice! Ive started making a podcast and after couple months i realized that i can talk better, even when i was talking to myself. I dont drink coffe but still have problems with overthinking and sleeping, but im trying to improve that and it is sometimes better. Have a lovely day:)
I alsways only get 7 or 6 hours of sleep even tho I know I need 8 I also watch half an hour on my phone before going out of bed and before sleeping I know that it would be better but I never do it because I still get to school or I still can keep my eyes open but I could be a lot more productive if I wouldn’t do it I will just try to fix it also very cool gameplay
Fr people don't usually realize their mistakes untill it's too late, cuz we feel comfortable about it. But we don't know our close ones dont. We really should leave the comfort zone when it's alr affecting our lives, but we just don't see it. So I think that we also have to prevent being broken, think twice before doing anything because that may cause something to be broken. Anyways this vid is fire as always ur teaching us to drink no caffeine, to fix something even if it's not broken and how to utilize Valkyrie in battle. And I also see that when u talk about we have to stand up again if we fall you put clips of losing lol. 🤍
