Never thought this day would ever come... their names are both Ruby & Scrim (Scrim is the deeper voice) $UICIDEBOY$ have helped me so much over the years, back then depressed as shit but right now over it thankfully. Still crazy hearing these deep tracks.. Maybe consider listening to 'my flaws burn through my skin like demonic flames from hell' or 'antartica' Edit: If you consider listening one of those two I recommend you listening to 'I NO LONGER FEAR THE RAZOR GUARDING MY HEEL part 1' it's the full album (7 min long)
Your statement is a 100% accurate. This how you feel when you're in that dark place. It is a beautiful song to those who have beat it, and a welcoming song to those experiencing it.
Snow leopard, yung plague etc are different names from Ruby (the first rapper) The second guy is also knows as Scrim, Scarecrow, Slick Sloth and many other names
Thank you for addressing this! I feel like you really have to understand them as a person, then to understand how they put themselves in the song. Talking in the third person with multiple aliases’s. I could go on but fuck it. Was at the last greyday in Chicago and it was amazing. S/o the boys!
I want that one too but I feel like 2nd hand is a song you appreciate and you love after you’ve already solidified as a SB fan. Like once u love all the hype shit 2nd hand becomes hard’!! But as first try to an artist it’s not as good
The boys rlly helped me when I was struggling with myself. Through suicide attempts to overdosing. I would listen to them at my lowest and they made me realize everything was gonna be ok cuz I felt like they had my back even though they have no idea who I am lol. Good reaction!
If you want an absolute banger I would recommend “For the Last Time”, and for a more deep track I would say give “...And to Those I Love, Thanks for Sticking Around” a listen
This also was an uplifting vibe to the song. Thank you for understanding what they try to convey through depression and addictions. It helps fans and people get through the hard times called life itself. Y'all have become top tier in my eyes to watch reactions in general for a bit now. Can't imitate the vibe you both give and spread. Major props!
their entire discography is fire, I recommend the songs My Flaws burn through my skin like demonic flames from hell, antarctica, 122 days, just anything really, keep up the great work guys!
"drugs/hoes/money/etc." !! It's from an album that gives such a feeling that is unfelt from many creators today, but this song is straight FIRE and I think of this song when I listen to "Drugs/hoes/money/ect." Their best songs are from EPs because they try new stuff and usually comes out really good, they never miss with lyrics and it can be shown through Scrim's crazy production.
I remember the first time I heard $B and I had similar reactions to these two. Been hooked ever since 2016. It’s so refreshing seeing two more people discovering them for the first time and understanding what they are saying rather than ridiculing $B for their delivery, lyrics, beats, expressions etc. Much appreciate for you both. 🖤
Wow, I listened to this song a few times before but I finally understood most of it thanks to you. I love SuicideboyS but Im BPD and I tend to be depressed, can´t control my emotions most of the time and suicide is ( like Charles Bukowski wrote) "I can never drive my car over a bridge without thinking of suicide. I can never look at a lake or an ocean without thinking of suicide". But listening to a tough sad song with you is like not being alone at home. 💜
the lyrics are very depressing at times but what they mean behind it is crazy. and they also said they do it for kids to relate or even understand that they arent alone. its dope
$B appealed to me because I feel or felt as if I’m not alone in my thoughts. They made people who were dealing with depression, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, and anxiety feel as if there are others who can relate and maybe push them in the right direction. I started listening to them back in 2014 in 6th grade up until this comment and I don’t think I’ll ever stop listening. Pictures ft Maxo Kream ; Obey the Walrus and Introversion 2.0 are all great fucking songs with nutty bars laced throughout it
when $uicideboy$ make theirs ongs, depending on the tone and style of flow, the duo change up their names to match the persona, so in the first verse, it would be ruby but because of the style he has implemeted into the song, his name is snow leopard, you will get your heads around it eventually lol, and the second guy in this song ($crim) produces their beats
JK BROS! READ THIS, i appreciate you guys y’all the shiz. i think you guys would have a good reaction to lowkey FOR SURE and runnin through the 7th with my woadies you guys haven’t seen there full potential🔥🤫 Edit: 8:21 theses guys are to funny😂 they’re mood change lol
Ruby and Scrim are cousins who both grew up close in New Orleans also. Scrim produces and heavily influenced by Three Six Mafia by far. I met them in person and honestly made my life as a huge fan since 2015. New album drops in 4 days as well. Def recommend looking into their history unless I want to type the major points.
“I no longer fear the razor guarding my heel” lyrics It’s 3 songs usually considered together as one, production, lyricism, flow, cadence, and versatility is godly
i suggest “i miss my dead friends”, “leave your things behind II” and “new chains same shackles” or just more suicideboys in general, they really never miss 🤙🏼
god im so hype you guys have gotten into them, its ruby and scrim, cousins from New Orleans. They had made a pack together that if they didn't blow up off of music then they were gonna kill themselves, hence why they're called $uicideBoy$. been listening to them since early 2016, and i get to see them live in october! :)
I’m a New Subscriber and I loved this vid I know I’m pretty late, but I hope you guys continue to succeed in life and keep making videos with having a rough night in this video made me feel better. I like the way how you guys said just do what makes you happy it got kind of deep in the video, about emotions and stuff more content creators should be down to earth like you guys !!!!
$uicideboy$ - antarctica. Awesome reaction bros🔥🔥🔥 First guy is Ruby da Cherry. He also calls himself Snow Leopard, Young Plague, Oddy as well as a bunch of other names. And the second guy is $crim, also Slick Sloth
The meaning of their name "$uicideboy$" is that if theyre rap career never made it, they would commit. But they blew up and the songs is just them spilling their emotions as you can tell
Suicideboys changed music for me they were solid guys that make dope as music there beats there flows the writing in the music and production is amazing and alot of the stuff they talk about is really relatable and its beautiful react to I want to die in new Orleans great reaction
it’s the craziest thing, i started listening to juice a lot when u guys did, and then i started listening to peep a lot when u guys did, and then i listened to suicide boys when u guys did, and the funny thing is it wasn’t even bc of u bros😂. so weird. love your guy’s vids tho, keep it up❤️
Honestly love you guys think about it. This song and many others have helped me in the past and even now. I also recommend listing to "My Flaws Burn Through My Skin Like Demonic Flames From Hell"
You guys should listen to: Runnin thru th 7th with my woadies, Leaving your things behind 2 and Antarctica. Those songs have like the same flow and cadence. Awesome video! and MY FLAWS BURN THROUGH MY SKIN LIKE DEMONIC FLAMES FROM HELL
2nd hand and …And to those i love, thanks for sticking around are also very good. ya’ll should listen to them!! (i love your videos so much always amazing reactions
also quick background on their name scrim and ruby (their cousins btw) made a pact if they didn’t make it big with their music they’d kill themselves which well where the name derives from lol
The way I read the chorus is "you'll never see daylight, if I'm not strong, it just might" happen! As in he threatens the girl but after the stanzas it reads as a personal threat. 7:34 hit the best line bros. "brains scattered on the wall, grey stains wont dissolve, going to have to paint it all" its off brand but acknowledge. ...And to those I love thanks for sticking $B is my song suggestion.
The way I dissect the song is when Ruby is saying “Snow Leopard(him) with the lead in his head, turning me into a sweater bitches use me as their fuckin bedspread” is him feeling like he’s just being used as a cover or booster for someone. And then at the part where he says “Brain splattered on the wall, grey stains wont dissolve, gonna have to paint it all” Means that when he blows his head off the old blood stains wont disappear so you’ll have to paint over them. I feel like he means when he kills himself the world wont be affected at all and the last bit of him left behind will just be painted over and forgot about. Deep shit.
Short information about $uicideboy$. $uicideboy$ is a rap group. There are two people in it. In the song you listend to "Kill Yourself (Part III), The first part was rapped by "ruby da cherry" also know as "Snow Leopard","Oddy nuff the snow leopard" and alot of other names. The second part was rapped by "$crim" also know as "$carecrow","Slick slouth" and alot of other names. They are cosuins from new orleans and make music since years, but they make music together since like 2014. Im not saying more because its more interresting to find out informations by your own.
Now this is a rabbit hole im gonna stick along and click as fast as possible everytime Ps. A list of personal favourites which i recommend Memoirs of a gorilla w/ getter Antarctica Ultimate $uicide ft. Denzel Curry New chains same shackels My flaws burn through my skin Harvestmoon
they go by many names but most common being Ruby (Ruby da cherry) and $crim they are two cousins who are from new orleans and had a hard up bringing and as of now scrim is 2 years sober from his drug addiction and ruby is also now sober and fighting his demons they have an album coming out on the 13th or 16th they say its very experimental they have many interviews and videos where they are open about there past they are my favorite artist them and x are my 2 favorites cant wait to see more of there stuff you react to :)
I noticed the guy on the left kept mentioning that ruby sounds like x. They actually came up together a lil bit and played a few tours together, sadly there was no song released between the three tho
