My only surprise was that MAD even made it this far. Post playins their WR against playin teams was 1-3, and even in playins the games they won weren't exactly clean, Alvaro and Supa needed to play the games of their lives to beat PSG. While people can say they earned the chance I think it's a huge flaw in the system if MAD who had a single split where they were better than 6th by the end (and that was Winter) can win a single BO5 and pretty much make it. On that end I blame the LEC format, I think it's one of the worst of all regions. 2-7 teams should not be making it to the next stage, tbh the same for 3-6, 4-5 at least means you compete but honestly 9 games isn't enough, we need 18 back. Top 6 makes it to playoffs with top 4 getting a double elim, maybe something like what the LCS has where the loser of those games go against one of 5th and 6th, my only problem with that mode is it would mean if you lose that first round as a 1-4 team you then play 5 BO5's but I don't see an alternative right now. For who makes it to the finals incorporating the first in Championship Points is a mistake, the winner of summer gets an AQ. Then if you want incorporate the next top 5 in a ladder system, where 5 plays 4, the winner plays 3 and the winner of that plays 2 though both have already qualified but this determines which worlds seed they get. It's not perfect by any means but I find very little positives from this current format the LEC has, and I think MAD are a byproduct of that.

Seems none actually feel sorry for MAD XD kinda expected to be honest :S Wish BDS made it instead.
