The power Madara used to survive domain expansion was not genjutsu. It was Izanagi. Literally turns back time. Sharingan is by far the most op weapon in all anime. The only counter to it is another sharingan.

@@user-zf3jy3hk9k Edo Tensei Madara is stomping Sukuna. He has a vastly larger skillset of attacks and more counters to Sukuna's power than what Sukuna has against him. How is Sukuna escaping the Infinite Tsukuyomi? Madara's base genjutsu would be enough to subdue him. What about Limbo? Those are clones with the same amount of strength in an alternate dimension that coexist with the physical world and are impossible to detect without the Rinnegan.. something Sukuna obviously doesn't have. Madara can regenerate from Sukuna's slashes if he manages to hit them and completely tank them with his Perfect Susanoo.
